With the emerging industrial hubs and upgradation of industrial scenario in

the nation, the 'Heart of India' Madhya Pradesh is all set to experience the
transformation at the investors' summit - Magnificent MP on Oct 18th, 2019,
at Brilliant Convention Center, Indore. To empower the state and establish
well-equipped infrastructure along with all the basic amenities required to
dear investors or stakeholders, the vision of the CM Shri Kamal Nath is
underlined with providing an investor-friendly environment in MP. The
government of Madhya Pradesh is proactively engaging with the industry to
explore the untapped potential and bring out an unprecedented wave of
industrial development and social/economic inclusion.

With unique policy incentives of the present government - Madhya Pradesh

is formulating a complete tax delinked Industrial Promotion Policy. We
realize that industries need financial incentives and non-financial support,
thus the amended policy is transparent and easy to derive and implement.

Now incentives are transferred to industries online in the same financial

year. Also, the primary assistance to industries is proportional to the
amount of investment in plant and machinery (P&M). The assistance varies
from 40% to 10% of the investment amount for investments ranging from ₹
10 crores to ₹ 1500 crores.

The scheme also has incentives capacity utilization, employment

generation and export orientation by the units by providing for additional
multiples over and above the primary assistance along with special
incentives packages for food processing, garmenting logistics and
warehousing sectors.

The MP government also provides industry boosters which focuses on:

● Impetus on employment generation (100-2500 employees): 1.0–1.5
times
● Benefits to Export oriented units (25% - 100%): 1.0–1.2 times
● Reimbursement of expenditure incurred on Infrastructure
Development: 50% assistance subject to a maximum of ₹1 crore
each shall be provided for developing power, water & road
infrastructure on private land or undeveloped government land for
setting up of project
● Electricity Duty Exemption from 5 to 10 years for new High Tension
(HT) connection

Policies that encourage sustainable growth and entrepreneurship have the

potential to ignite a green industrial revolution in India. Transformative
economic and 'green growth' policies, combined with entrepreneurship, will
enable India to have a resource-efficient modern economy. Madhya
Pradesh government provides 50% up to a maximum of ₹ 25 lakhs capital
subsidy for investment in setting up of Waste Management System to
industries.

The food ecosystem of Madhya Prades offers numerous investment

opportunities with stimulating growth in the food retail sector. It also offers
attractive fiscal incentives along with industry-oriented tailor-made
economic policies. The government of Madhya Pradesh offers flat 1.5 times
of primary assistance along with Mandi Fee exemption for five years.

To flourish the textile and apparel industry of Madhya Pradesh, the state
government is providing tailor-made industry policies including additional
5% interest subsidy, employment generation subsidy of ₹ 5000 per
employee per month for 5 years, employee training subsidy of ₹ 13000 per
employee and power tariff fixed at ₹ 5 per unit for 5 years for the socio-
economic development of the society.

Being located in the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh has the geographical
advantage to tap its potential as the country’s logistics hub. The state has
direct access to near about 50% population of India. The state government
is looking forward to develop and strengthen the logistics and warehousing
sector of Madhya Pradesh by providing many packages to the industries.
Logistics & Warehousing Sector Package includes 15% capital subsidy,
electricity duty exemption, relaxation in floor area ratio (FAR) and ground
