The study will be

conducted in Dauin,

Negros Orienral,

where the researchers'

experiment of

producing glue out of

fish scales will take

place. Dauin is a 4th

class municipality in

the Province Negros

Oriental, Philippines. It

is located 15

kilometers away from Dumaguete City. The town is bordered on the south by Zamboanguita, on

the north by Bacong, on the east by the sea and on the west by Santa Catalina. Dauin is divided

into 23 municipal subdivisions. According to 2015 cencus, it has 27,786 population. Dauin has

an argotouristic economy. One of the landmarks of the town is the Apo Island, one of the

world's best ten dive locations. The colonial church of San Nicolas can also be found in Dauin, it

is the oldest church in the Negros Oriental Province. The municipality can be accesed from the
City through a bus, jeep or an easyride that will take about 25-45 minutes and a fare of Php

20.00 only.
