Terrorism (500 word)

In our mind, we must think that terrorism is always about criminality, violence, radicalism,
and other things that always leads to negative things. But, is it really true that terrorism only
brings negativity? Let’s find out..
In KBBI (Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia), Terrorism is some kind of individual/group that
uses violence to causes fear. The reasons why they do all of that thing, is to achieve their goals
(especially political, religious, economic or ideological goals). They will do everything to
achieve their goals, even if someone have a high position they will not hesitate to kill someone.

The origin word of terrorism is Terror. Terror is kind of effort to creates fear, horror, and
cruelty by a person or group. But, what about the bullying activities? Does it belong to terrorism?
In my opinion, bullying and terrorism are related to one another. Because i think the causes of
terrorism is started from bullying.

Bullying is the use of violence, threats, or coercion to abuse or intimidate others. If someone
do bullying since they were a child, then it will be embedded to their minds to always intimidate
and threats others like that. I believed that all of the terrorist in their childhood always bullied
others, and then that habit is carried over into their adulthood.

Now, what are the reasons of someone bullying others? At the first, bullying is just for a fun
thing or just a joke. But the long term impact will causes the victim stressed out or even want to
end their life by his own. The reason of bullying is because they are wanted an attention from
others, wanted to rule the others, and the biggest impact is how their parents raised them.

After all, terrorism only brings negativity. Is it true? I think that’s not 100% true, i think
about 10% of terrorism brings some positivity. If there is no terrorism, I think all of us will not
be united as now. Because of the terrorist activities, we become united to fight against the
terrorist together.

The example for this is the Palestinian Crisis. The cause for this crisis were continuous
attacks from Israel Defense Forces to drive the Palestinian People away from their own
homeland. This causes Muslim Countries to rally and defend the Palestinian People.

The help then came from various countries in the world, such as The US, Canada, and most
of the European Countries. This is an example that terrorism, while in it’s in own is destructive
and is a threat to everyone else, can also become a form of humanitarian crisis which create a
situation where humans help each other.

In my view for the future, I hope that terrorism can be minimalized and be put down to their
core, so that peace can be sustained throughout the ages of mankind in this world. So let us build
a healthy communication between each other, let us make the world to be a better place for every
one of us, so that the future will be brighter and more peaceful than now.
