Preamble: Demonstrate a day-in-the-life flow of a Sales and Operations Planner in
Fusion S&OP Cloud.

Demo Step Talking Points Navigation

Introduction I will be presenting a day-in-the-
life flow for a Sales and
Operations Planner in Oracle Sales Click on
and Operations Planning (S&OP) Supply Chain
Cloud. In this particular flow, we Planning group
will touch upon some key features
available in release 13 such as:
- Process management to
align the enterprise and
foster accountability.
- Seeded dashboards and
reports to monitor
overall forward-looking
performance with drill Then click on
down into detail to Sales and
understand the root cause Operations
of performance shortfalls, Planning
and take corrective
action.
- Social Collaboration to
harness collective
knowledge
- Inline, rapid simulation
to evaluate alternative
what-if plans.
- And, Plan comparison to
determine the best one for
execution.
We start off in the page where an Click on

complete process. There is a
Timeline calendar view at the
bottom and tabs across the top for
the standard stages of the S&OP
process from Product Review
through Executive Review where
tasks are assigned to people. This
is part of the process management
that is built directly into the
product and where we initiate the
monthly S&OP planning cycle.

1
Let’s start working on the monthly
S&OP process by going to the
Product Review tab.
So now we’re in the Product Click on Go

The Planning Activities pane Plan
shows a list of standard tasks for
Product Review.
The Action Items pane lists action
items coming out of the last
Product Review meeting and their
status.
The Decision Items tab lists a
running list of recommendations to
be approved, or alternatives to be
considered at the upcoming
Product Review meeting (or
pushed to Demand Review or
subsequent stage) as part of a
formal S&OP process.
From here, we can drill directly to
where we need to complete tasks.

charts related to the selected KPI.
Here, in the left-most infotile, we
can see where we are at with new
product revenues compared to

There are no glaring problems so
we’re going to move ahead to the
next stage, Demand Review.
To get there, let’s return to the
