 God is seeking those He can lift up to meet

His needs and fulfill His purposes. Are you

 Think about it, why did God choose Elisha
to replace Elijah when there were 7,000
prophets that had not defiled themselves?
1Kings19:18
Be positioned to meet God’s need.
 What do you need to be positioned for God’s call?
1Kings 19:19 – 21, 2Tim 2:22, Heb 12:14, Gal 1:10, Phil
3: 7-12
 Be Ready. As much as it is within you, follow peace
with all men and holiness. Be steadfast in your
relationship with God. Deal with and forsake all the
little sins that easily beset you.
 Be Available. Understand that your primary purpose
is to please God. Make yourself available for His use
 Be Diligent. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it
diligently as unto the Lord. If you’re diligent with a
little, you will be diligent with much
 Be Committed. Be sold out to God. Deal with and
destroy anything that contends with the plan and
purpose of God in your life.
Live a life of service
 From the moment you are called (or
discover your calling) to the point you are
celebrated, there is a process of learning,
training and most importantly of service to
prepare you for the greatness ahead. If you
cannot serve others, you will most likely be
a failure as a leader. 1 Tim 3:10, 13
Live a life of service.
 How do you live a life of service? 2Kings 3:11,
1Kings 19:21, 2Kings 2:1-12, Jos 22:5
 Be willing to serve. Be humble enough to serve
others. You need a mentor that you can learn
from and that can hold you accountable
 Be willing to go the extra mile. Never be
satisfied with the average, or just doing enough
to get by. Extend yourself and then you will stand
out and accomplish what others cannot.
 Be focused. Don’t allow yourself to be distracted.
Focus on God. Don’t be swayed by people’s
flatteries or criticisms.
Dream the impossible
2Kings 2:9-10,13-22, Jos 1:1-7
 Dream big! Remember, as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
Think big, dream big. It is the size of room that you make
available to God that He will fill.
 Hold on to God’s promises. Find a Word, a revelation to hold on
to. If He has said it, He will surely bring it to pass.
 Exercise your authority. Stand on the Solid Rock and exercise
the authority that you have in Him. You cannot develop what you
do not exercise. Create your destiny with your mouth!
 Embrace success. Embrace the victories and successes that God
gives you.
 Remain Humble. Understand that at the time of your greatest
victories is when you may be most vulnerable. Always remember
that it is not about you. It is all about God. Never tamper with His
glory.
