At the end of the class, the learners are expected to:
1. Discuss the elements of arts; and
2. Explain the principles of arts.

2. MOTIVATION (Simple Recall)

1. ACTIVITY: PICTURE ANALYSIS

1.1. The class will be divided into 3 groups;
1.2. Each group will be given a picture and the members will jot down
important things that they had observed.
1.3. Recorded observations will be discussed in the class by a reporter
appointed by the group.
2. ANALYSIS:
2.1 What is being shown in the pictures?
2.2 What are the observations the group had recorded about the pictures
shown?
2.3 How the group was able to ascertain their observations?
3. ABSTRACTION: (Lecturette)
3.1 What is art?
3.2 What are the elements of art?
3.3 What are the principles of art?
3.4 How these elements and principles can be identified in a piece of
artwork?

4. APPLICATION
ART ELEMENTS BOOK

4.1 Students will draw:

4.1.1 5 lines
4.1.2 4 Shapes
4.1.3 3 colors

IV. EVALUATION
1. A picture will be presented to the group and each student will identify
what elements are present in the art.
2. Answers will be written in a ¼ sheet of paper.
