Santa Ana, CA
- At Magnolia Science Academy Santa Ana I have taught many different subjects
and grade levels. Last year I taught American Government, Ancient World History,
and United States History. I currently teach American Government, Psychology, and
AP United States Government and Politics. I am the full-time classroom teacher
responsible for lesson planning, behavior management, grading, lesson delivery,
etc. I hold weekly tutoring as well as coach the Academic Decathlon team at the
school.

– As a student teacher at Bancroft I taught two eighth grade United
States History courses and one seventh grade Medieval World
History course. For all three classes I planned the lessons, taught the

– I worked as a counselor for adolescents ages eleven to eighteen
struggling with their mental health. My responsibilities included
facilitating a variety of therapeutic groups, supervising clients,
maintaining a safe environment, and addressing their educational
needs while in treatment.

– My current role at the Whittier Center for Discovery facility is working
as the teacher/education liaison. My responsibilities include
contacting the client’s parents, coordinating an education plan
with the client’s school, completing an educational assessment for
each client, monitoring client academic progress, assisting clients
with their school assignments, and creating a school re-entry plan
for each client.
