: The National Highway (N-40) connects Pakistan with Iran. It starts from
Quetta and ends at Taaftan (Pak Iran Border).The project is located in
Balochistan. The alignment is mainly traversing in hilly and mountainous
terrain. The project comprises of double lane carriage way, 330 Nos. of box
culverts for cross water drainage. The road work mainly consists of formation
of embankment from road way and borrow excavation, Sub grade, Sub
base, Aggregate base course, Asphaltic base course and Wearing course.
The length of the project is 90 Km
