ManggagawaRT Parol: In the life of the Artisan

We were asked to interview and document a person who is an artisan. We chose

to interview a shop owner who sells “parol and other christmas decorations located
at San Gabriel, Malolos City. In interviewing her, we learned how do they make
“parol”. The materials they use to make one are not easy to find. You can make a
“parol” in minutes but has risks because you have to use electricity. What they’re
doing is not easy, and it puts a lot of effort to make one, no doubt a “parol” cost a
lot. Despite of that, they don’t usually make a lot of money in a day because it is a
seasonal job.
