As a Fully Financial Full Member of the Adelaide Chapter of Patriots Australia you are invited to
vote at this Annual General Election (AGM). Below are the candidates for this AGM and the
Motions that have been proposed and advertised as Agenda points for this meeting.

motion as outlined within this Proxy Vote If you are unable to attend the Annual General Meeting.

Proposal: ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFICE BEARERS
Background: IAW the Adelaide Chapter Constitution v2.0, the Adelaide Chapter is to conduct
the election of its Officer Bearers for the Executive and Ordinary Committee each year at the
Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Motion 01/10: A motion is moved that the members presented for voting be accepted as duly
elected and uncontested.

Proposal: ACCEPT THE INTRODUCTION OF THE ADELAIDE CHAPTER CONSTITUTION V3.0


Background: As a result of the recent collapse of the previous executive a complete review of
the entire administrative structure has been conducted. As an outcome, the Chapter Constitution
has been completely rewritten in order to better administer and reduce the burden of waiting for
AGMs to action items that can be managed by Special General Meetings of members and through
the of By-Laws. The Constitution has been made available by means of the Chapter website.
Motion 02/10: A motion is moved to have the Adelaide Chapter Constitution v3.0 as written and
made available to the members for perusal and discussion, be accepted and lodged with the Office
of Consumer and Business Affairs replacing all previous versions.

Proposal: REQUIREMENT FOR A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING OF MEMBERS IN THE 2011


Background: As a result of the recent collapse of the previous executive a complete review of
the entire administrative structure has been conducted. As an outcome, The Chapter By-Laws are
being rewritten and need to be put to the members of the Adelaide Chapter for approval in the
New Year as time is rapidly running out for 2010.
Motion 03/10: A motion is moved that the Adelaide Chapter holds a Special General Meeting of
the members in order to discuss and accept the new Adelaide Chapter By-Laws.

Proposal: SUMMARISED ALL FUTURE DEALINGS WITH SOUTHERN CROSS CHAPTER


Background: Move a Motion that all significant dealings with the Southern Cross Chapter be
summarised and passed through the Chapter Secretary. The aim being: committee visibility, and an
official record in the Minutes through Inwards and Outwards Correspondence of all our dealings.
Motion 04/10: A motion is moved that all significant dealings with the soon to be raised Patriots
Chapter the ‘Southern Cross’ is to be summarised and passed through the Chapter Secretary.

Proposal: THE CHAPTER APPLIES FOR AN AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS NUMBER (ABN)


Background: The Chapter has recognised the value of having the availability of the internet to
advertise, display and disseminate information to members and prospective members and the
general public about our Chapter. In order to take our current Blog to the next stage which is a Dot
Com which will allow members within the ADF firewall gain full access to our website we need to
obtain an Australian Business Number (ABN). Registration of a Domain Name and two (2) years
web hosting is to be donated by Jason Ashmore after which time the Chapter can accept the
ongoing financial obligation.
Motion 05/10: A motion is moved to apply through the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for an
Australian Business Number (ABN).
