2. Explain how Newton and Descartes described the emergence of light
in various colors through prism. (S11/12PS-IVg-57)

The teacher will ask questions about the previous lessons.
The teacher will provide pictorial representations of reflection, refraction,
transmission, and absorption of light. As well as the spectral rays of light
from prism.
The teacher will further give practical applications or examples of the
provided illustrations. Teacher will then elicit and gauge background
knowledge of the students regarding the topic.
The teacher will elaborate on students’ answers and discuss how each is
termed and described.
The teacher will discuss how white light is separated into different color by
passing through a prism.
Ask questions about the topic for today.
As an application, generalization and also as an evaluation for the day’s
lesson, the students will answer questions on their notebooks.
Ask students to watch videos regarding light.
