B. TRUE OR FALSE
Write True on the line if the statement is correct. Write False if it is incorrect.
__________1. Both organic fertilizers and pesticides are eco-friendly which
means
they do not cause pollution in the environment
__________2. Organic local pesticides are preferable because they cost less.

__________3. Organic fertilizer gives a healthier soil by enhancing its structure

and retaining its moisture
__________4.Chemical fertilizer is safer to be used than organic fertilizer.

PROCESS

Acting-out (a sad face or a happy face)

Learners will be grouped into 4. The teacher will provide strips of paper rolled-
written on each the benefit of using organic fertilizer and locally made pesticides.
Each group will draw lot. They will read what they got then interpret through
their facial expression.
Benefits:
- Organic fertilizer gives a healthier soil by enhancing its structure and
retaining its moisture
- Chemical fertilizer, on the other hand, kills earthworms which are
important to maintain a good quality of soil. It also eliminates micro-
organism which is a good defense to avoid plant diseases.
- The nutritional value and the flavor of each crop, or fruit is improved and
supplied by organic fertilizers.
- Both organic fertilizers and pesticides are eco-friendly which means they
do not cause pollution in the environment when used in moderation.
- Organic local pesticides are preferable because they cost less. They are
formulated for local crops and made for safe removal of pests.
