OBJECTIVES: 1. Explain the main idea in a simple spoken text using their own words about free time activities shown in
the pictures.
2. Understand independently the questions prompted by their friends based on the activities shown in the
pictures by using provided phrases.

ACTIVITIES: I. PRE-LESSON
1. Teacher pre-teach words related to free time activities.
II. LESSON
1. Teacher discusses the pictures using provided questions.
2. Guide pupils to practice using language phrases.
3. Pupils are divided into two groups. Group A will become inside circle and Group B will become
outside circle.
4. Pupils practice the language patterns in clockwise.
5. Sit according preferred activity.
6. Ask volunteer to explain why he/she choose the activity.
7. The teacher gives feedback using medals and missions approach.
III. POST-LESSON
1. pupils will be given task to record one of their favourite activity during the free time and share it in the
class social media group.

DIFFERENTIATION 1. Differentiate by the time.


STRATEGIES - Lower proficient pupils will be given more time to practice the sentence patterns.
2. Differentiate by amount of support.
- Top pupils will have to answer in two complex sentences.
