Executive Summary

Taho has been the favorite snack/drink by most Filipinos at every point of the day. You
cannot deny that every morning, outside of your home, you will hear a vendor screaming
“Tahoooooo!” to entice the people in that area to buy some Taho. Sometimes, they even put
emphasis on the word Taho just to make it a bit unique to the Filipinos ears. Taho is a traditional
Filipino dessert that is made up of Soya beans topped with caramel/arnibal and Tapioca pearls.
T.M.C or Taho Manufacturing Corporation is a manufacturing firm that produces “Taho”
headquartered at Katipunan Ave., Quezon City. The Company has been supplying the customers
and consumers around Metro Manila as of now since 2001. It is run by the efforts of the Crema
family, a pure Filipino clan. We at T.M.C are aiming to make our “Taho” be noticed in the
market. Not just in the streets, but we also aim that it will be popular in retail stores and all over
the nation as a snack that is not just available on the streets, but will also be available in the
fridges of every retail outlets. We offer our own product, Soyco to the Filipino people.
Lately, we might notice that the demand for “Taho” might diminish someday because it
is only available on the street and if you miss it, then you will be waiting until tomorrow for the
vendor to come back. With this kind of idea on putting it up on the market, it will be available
any time of the day for purchase. Soyco has a unique packaging like an ice cream cup. Upon
opening the lid there will be another container which contains a plastic spoon, the sweetener, and
the tapioca pearls. Underneath is the Taho itself. We separated the flavors and the taho so that
the consumer will have that experience of mixing it themselves having the option of not mixing
or limiting the sweetener for those consumers who are diabetic or just prefer it plain or they
prefer it without the tapioca pear
