How to Fill and Submit the Online Form for IIFT 2020

Pre-requisites for IIFT 2020 Registration:


✓ Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb)
✓ Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb)
✓ Scanned clear copy of certificates indicating Category and/or subcategory as applicable in
JPG/JPEG format (size between 50 kb–300 kb)
✓ A valid e-mail Id as all communication will be made on this e-mail Id
✓ A valid mobile number as all information via SMS will be sent to this number

Step 1: Register for Online Application Form

Click here to register. Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.

Please Note:
• Candidate name should be entered exactly as it appears in 10th standard/Equivalent.
• Candidate must provide Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address correctly as these
details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.
• Generate your password.
Once you click on 'Submit', you will be redirected to the Review Page. Cross-check the entered details and
tick all the particulars mentioned in the checklist. Click on ‘Final Submit’

Candidate will receive the Application Number in the registered email address.
Step 2: Complete the Application Form

Login to your IIFT account. Click on 'Complete Application Form' button to edit your application.

Fill up your Personal Details.

Step 3: Select Preferred Test Cities


Select the program and select 4 choices of Exam City in order of preference.

Step 4: Academic & Work Experience Details

Academic Details:
• Enter your academic qualification with Exam Roll Number.
• Scores can be entered in Percentage & CGPA.

Work Experience:
• Enter your work experience till date of filling the IIFT Form.
• Only full time experience after the graduation must be entered. Part time / project / Internship /
article ship / pre-graduation work experience should not be entered and will not be counted as
work experience.
• Mention most recent experience first and so on.

Once you click on 'Submit', you will be redirected to the Review Page. Cross-check the entered details and
tick all the particulars mentioned in the checklist. Click on ‘Final Submit’.

Step 5: Upload Documents

Upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature and Candidate’s Caste
Certificate if the Candidate is applying Under GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST or PwD Category.
• Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format.
• Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
• Size of scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
• Size of scanned Caste/Category Certificate should size between 50 kb–300 kb
• The recent photograph should be coloured or black/white (but clear contrast).
Step 6: Payment
The candidate has to select Debit card/Credit card/Net banking/PAYTM option to pay the application fee
and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of fee.
After successful payment, candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page. In case the Confirmation
Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and the candidates has to
approach the concerned bank for refund of amount. However the candidate has to make another transaction,
in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.

The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment at NTA website
(https://iift.nta.nic.in/webinfo/public/home.aspx) and if the status is ‘OK’, the candidate will be able to take
the printout of Confirmation Page. In case, the fee payment status is not ‘OK’ the candidates are advised as
following:
• If the fee is paid through credit/debit card/Netbanking/PAYTM and status is not OK, it means the
transaction is cancelled and the amount will, automatically, be refunded to concerned credit/debit card..
Therefore, such candidates will be required to pay the fee once again and ensure that the fee status OK.

➢ QRS: NTA has established a Query Redressal System (QRS), an online web-enabled system to register
queries. Click on ‘Register Query’ after logging into the portal.
