Ashaway Racket Strings has introduced a new line of badminton strings that incorporates an en-
tirely new polymer as a raw material. The new ZyMax® Fire line includes four strings, each de-
signed to optimize the various characteristics of Ashaway's proprietary BETA polymer fibers, and
constructed using the company's special ZyWeaVe™ string core technology. This allows players to
select a string tailored to their games. ZyMax benefits include sensational elasticity and dynamic
stiffness for excellent feel and repulsion; optimum power and durability, including incredible knot
and loop strength; and exceptional tension holding ability for consistent reliable performance.
"The development of this new ZyMax Fire line of badminton strings has taken more than a year
of intensive effort in our R&D labs as well as extensive testing on badminton courts around the
world," said Steve Crandall, Vice President of Ashaway. "And the results have been worth it. Not
only are ZyMax Fire strings the only ones on the market to use this new BETA polymer, but we can
boast a 25% improvement in dynamic stiffness, and in knot and sheer strength, over most popular
badminton strings, and offer players a range of strings suited to their individual styles."
The initial ZyMax Fire line includes four strings: ZyMax 62 Fire, ZyMax 66 Fire, ZyMax 66 Fire
Power, and ZyMax 69 Fire. ZyMax 62 Fire is a 0.62mm micro gauge string designed for maximum
repulsion and shuttle response. Both ZyMax
66 Fire and ZyMax 66 Fire Power are 0.66mm
strings designed for high performance players.
66 Fire is tailored to provide precise shot mak-
ing, while 66 Fire Power is designed to pro-
vide maximum power and explosive repulsion.
ZyMax 69 Fire is the heavyweight of the group
and is geared to provide exceptional durability
and string life.

and holds tension better than traditional badminton strings. This allows for thinner, more playable
strings that perform consistently at higher tensions throughout the life of the string.
All ZyMax Fire strings are available in traditional white and in a distinctive “Fire” orange color, and
in either 10-meter sets or 200-meter reels. Recommended stringing tensions are up to 30 or 40
lbs., depending on the string.

WILSON SPORTING GOODS CO. LAUNCHES THE
POWER-PACKED, SLEEK BURN RACKET
Wilson Sporting Goods Co., announced the introduction of
the BURN family of rackets. This new line is built specifically
for performance tennis players seeking a bold, sleek racket that accelerates power from the baseline. The
BURN is the first Baseliner-focused product to emerge from the Company’s new PlayerID system, which
categorizes three key types of tennis playing styles: Baseliner, Attacker and All Courter. The system helps
athletes better select products that speak to their playing style and enhance their overall performance on
the court.
The BURN line consists of five rackets, each with a headsize of 100 square inches. Each BURN racket is
constructed with High Performance Carbon Fiber, which increases frame stiffness for explosive power on
groundstrokes. And the BURN comes with the X2 Shaft, a longer handle that allows for increased feel and
leverage on two-handed backhands, and an optimal shaft shape to enable quick grip changes for extreme
grips. The rackets also feature Parallel Drilling, which dramatically increase their sweet spot, while provid-
ing a forgiving feel.
The BURN 100S, BURN 100LS, and BURN 100ULS rackets are equipped with the Company’s Spin Effect
technology and differ in weight, allowing juniors to work their way up within the BURN family of rackets as
they grow.
Current top-ten players and Wilson Advisory Staff members Kei Nishikori
and Simona Halep are two of the first athletes to play competitively with the
new BURN during the 2015 Australian Open in Melbourne.
Consumers are invited to visit www.wilson.com/burn for more information
on the BURN family of rackets.
ABOUT WILSON’S PLAYERID SYSTEM
The BURN is the first Baseliner-focused product to emerge from the Com-
pany’s innovative PlayerID system, which allows tennis players to easily
identify the appropriate Wilson racket model based on individual play style.
Through extensive player research, Wilson identified three core playing
styles in relation to the modern tennis game:
o Baseliner – the player who battles from the baseline with consistency
and speed
o Attacker – the player who attacks the ball early to dictate play inside
the baseline
o All-Courter – a versatile player, who hits from all corners of the court
After identifying which playing style they belong to, athletes can quickly nar-
row their racket search by model type and weight. Every racket for Wilson
will correspond with one of the three playing style segments, streamlining
the racket selection process and ensuring a player’s equipment is best
suited for his or her style of play.

BURN rackets, log on to www.wilson.com/burn.

WILSON SPORTING GOODS CO. DEBUTS
NEXT GENERATION BLADE RACKET FOR THE
AGGRESSIVE, BIG-HITTER
Wilson Sporting Goods Co., announced today the intro-
duction of four new rackets to its BLADE performance
tennis franchise: BLADE 98 16x19, BLADE 98 18x20, BLADE 98S and BLADE 104. The rackets
join one of Wilson’s best-selling lines globally, and are designed specifically for big- hitting, attack-
ing-style players seeking aggressive control. Current top-ranked players and Wilson Advisory Staff
members Serena Williams, Milos Raonic, Gael Monfils, David Goffin and Madison Keys will play
with the BLADE during the upcoming 2015 season.
The BLADE is the second attacker-focused product to emerge
from Wilson’s new PlayerID system. For this system, Wilson
categorized three core playing styles in today’s game: Baselin-
er, Attacker and All Courter. The PlayerID system helps players
better select products that speak to their playing style and en-
hance their overall performance on the court. The introduction
of the next generation BLADE rackets follows Wilson’s highly
successful re-invention of its attacker-style Pro Staff franchise,
which launched in 2014.
“BLADE is an incredible story of how to take performance ten-
nis engineering and design to the next level,” said Hans-Martin
Reh, General Manager, Racquet Sports. “We really dug into
the playing style of attacker athletes and what they need to
optimize their game. Then we looked at materials, construction,
string pattern, weight, head size and feel, to design a racket
that gives these powerful players greater control, feel and a big-
ger sweet spot.”
The new 2015 BLADE features a bold, new design with lime
green accents on a sleek, black base, and is technology-
packed. Evolutionary Braided Graphite and Basalt construction
allows the BLADE to be more elastic and reactive at the point
of contact for enhanced feel and greater control. The racket
also includes Wilson’s Parallel Drilling, a technology that en-
sures the racket’s grommet holes are parallel with the string
bed. This expands the sweet spot size by up to 26 percent,
resulting in more power and a forgiving feel.
Further, the BLADE 98S delivers precision spin through Wil-
son’s patented Spin Effect Technology, which creates 200+
more RPM’s on every shot and enables players to get more
balls in the court. And the BLADE 104, Serena William’s racket
of choice, has a larger head size and bigger sweet sport.

Novak Djokovic captures fifth AO title in a HEAD-to-
HEAD final against Andy Murray
Novak Djokovic made history as he won the HEAD-to-HEAD final against Andy Murray
7-6 (5), 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-0 to claim a record fifth title at the Australian Open. The thriller
lasting nearly three and three-quarter hours was riddled with plot twists, with Djokovic,
who endorses the new HEAD Graphene XT Speed, winning his eighth Grand Slam
title.
Murray, who recommends the HEAD Graphene Radical and will move back to fourth in the world on Mon-
day, put up a huge battle in the epic but could not overcome his HEAD mate. The Scot fought to square the
match with the first two sets lasting for two and a half hours.
After trailing 0-2 in the third set, the world No. 1 Djokovic proved his #gameraiser attitude when he went
from frustration to determination during change over. From this moment onwards he dominated the last two
sets, sweeping to his 50th victory at Melbourne Park on a second match point as Murray netted a back-
hand. Djokovic finished with more than 50 winners, and broke Murray nine times. "Five wins is fantastic,"
said Djokovic. "I'm really pleased. I must also congratulate Andy for a great match. He's a tough competitor
and a true fighter."
The 2013 Wimbledon winner, Andy Murray, is determined to return in hopes of finally lifting the Melbourne
crown. "Novak played a fantastic match and thoroughly deserves the title," said the Scot. "This has been
my most consistent slam even though I've not won it. My team put in a lot of work after a poor 2014. We
couldn't do it tonight, but I'm feeling a lot better about my game than I did a few months ago. I'll keep work-
ing hard to get there. I'll be back next year and hope to have a slightly different outcome in the final."
With Tomas Berdych a third HEAD #gameraiser entered the Semi Final. The 29 year old’s path to the final
four included a win over World No. 3 Rafael Nadal in the quarter-finals, where he broke a 17-match losing
streak against the Spaniard. Berdych, who promotes the HEAD Graphene Instinct, was beaten by Murray
in four sets.
In the women's final, HEAD's Maria Sharapova held her nerve in a huge challenge to Serena Williams
before losing their showdown 3-6, 6-7 (5). Sharapova, who recommends the HEAD Graphene XT Instinct,
was in the hunt for her sixth Grand Slam trophy. But despite a fighting comeback in the second set, the
Russian came up just short. The defeat won't keep world No. 2 Sharapova fighting to reclaim the top rank-
ing spot from Williams in the coming months.
