Key Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to the following:
The main responsibility is to manage and administer the contract (FIDIC) between the
Company and the Employer (Vietnam authorities) and defend & protect the interest of the
Company on a daily basis of contractual issues with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
Develop, update and implement the commercial and contract administration policy and
procedures
Draft and establish contractual agreement and letters for the project team
Manage, draft and analyse the documentation in relation to progress of cost and
expenses claim, final account and a variety of other documents
Manage, check and verify required insurances and bonds (if any), project checklists,
encumbrances, notices to proceed, change orders, pay requests, etc…
Liaise with Project Managers and Design, Procurement and Construction teams on
contractual matters
Advise the Project Managers or other operational staff on contract administration
Highlight legal implications of contracts and negotiations
Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract
visibility and awareness to support implementation
Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
Attend project meetings (internal and with client) as and when required
Manage in collaboration with procurement and logistic any potential disputes with
suppliers/subcontractors
Produce and manage, with the bidding team, all the legal and contractual aspects of
prequalification and bids (internal and external)
Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
Bachelor or higher with minimum 15 years of working experience in which 10 years at the
similar position at the railway projects
Deep understanding & experience with FIDIC construction contract, project management and
dealing with public customers
Good knowledge of laws and regulations including but not limited to investment laws,
enterprise laws, labour laws and contract management
Strong knowledge of the local/regional market in relation to industry trends and norms

Strong analytical, problem solving, balanced and independent judgment, law interpretation
and implementation skills
Strong negotiation & organisational skills, high level of detail orientation, and efficient time
management
High ability of English communications (both verbal and written)
Strictly follow code of ethics, strong integrity and honest
