Prior to qualification, I trained in the firm’s Corporate Litigation and

Employment Law divisions, gaining experience in corporate leveraged finance,
tortious and contractual claims both in arbitration and the Malaysian courts,
corporate advisory as well as industrial relations disputes. Being at Chooi
& Co. was a fantastic opportunity in which I built on what I had learned in
university by combining academic and vocational experience with the day-to-
day practical work of chambers, including advocacy, drafting and liaising with

solicitors, clients and colleagues. I was called to the Malaysian Bar on 30th
October 2017.
