TOPICS FOR WRP

1. SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION

Language acquisition is subconsciously acquiring the target language that
learners want to master. It is simply defined that learners do not recognize they are
actually acquiring language. Meanwhile, second language acquisition means the
process of acquiring second language of someone besides his first language. The
reasons why I get interested in this topic is to deepen my knowledge and to
understand about how second language acquisition works in brain, the process of
acquiring second language acquisition of children and to get the possible ways for
adult to be as successful as children in acquiring second language that in the hope
this proposal can bring us to the best ways in acquiring second language
acquisition well.
2. TECHNOLOGY AND SPEAKING
Speaking becomes the most interest some people want to master in when I did a
little research about their perspective of English skills. However, speaking is also
the most difficult skill of four English skills that people mostly deal with when
they learn English. By speaking, those people perceived they will be successful
when they can speak well. Nowadays they can actually master the speaking of
English when they are helped with sophisticated technology that will be their
friends when they think they have no one to practice with. The reasons why I chose
this topic is to survey people what they have been doing to improve speaking, to
have their opinions of fascinating ways to improve their speaking, and to introduce
certain ways to do with their phones when they want to improve their speaking
skills.

3. SOCIOLINGUISTICS
Sociolinguistics is a study of language for social purpose, either for
communicating, interacting with people, or even understanding the
language and its context and features. By not only learning language and
its structure, deep inside I also have to understand about how language
has impact on society so that it can be used properly. It makes get
interested in doing the research of the impact of learning English
language of English Education Students towards their relationship with
people around in the hope this will bring to new sights of how language
effects to their society, encourage readers to learn new languages
especially English and to associate English features with everyday
society.

4. WRITING SKILLS
Writing is one of the active skills in learning English. Writing
skills until now becomes a matter for students or learners of English
since it needs a lot of practice. Writing skills cannot be established when
there is no encouragement to do so. I think it is important to be better in
writing is practicing frequently in a fun way. That is why I get interested
in doing the research of students’ ability in writing in English with
certain techniques in the hope this research will help teachers to have a
good technique to improve students’ ability in writing.

5. CAR
CAR (Class Action Research) is a research doing in observing the
everyday problems in the classroom and dealing with them in order to
have a better teaching and learning process. By doing this research, it
helps the aspects in the class to improve better, either the teachers can
find right ways to teach the students, learners have amazing teachers or
both of them have enjoyable teaching-learning process. This research
makes me get interested since it will help me to achieve successful
learning objectives and how to establish and to maintain a good class
with the developing and changing education system.
