IDEA GENERATION

In today's world cell phone is a must. It has become a basic need

in order to survive in this world. Smart phones are used for infinite
number of purposes. It is highly efficient and gives a lot of
happiness to the user.

One of the important feature that we expect from smartphone is

that the ability to charge fast. We require a facility of charging
the mobile faster and easier too.

We cannot carry the traditional charger everywhere. Also,

wireless chargers that are available does not allow us to use the
mobile while it gets charged.

So,we come up with an idea of charging the phone easily and also
at an affordable price.
PROBLEM DEFINITION
Frequent damage to the mobile often when connected to wireless
charger, this leaves us un-sastisfied .It also causes heavy
impairment to the screen or the back camera.
To tackle this problem , a product has to be designed for
regulating the working efficiency of our wireless charger.
1. It is not charging fast
2. Phone cannot be used while charging
3. Its heating effect is high due to which the phone also gets
heated.
4. It has low efficiency
5. it is not portable.
NEED STATEMENT
(Vague set of wishes the customers would like the product to
perform for them)

1. The charger should not get heated.

2. The charging should be fast.
3. it should be simple and easy to be carried with phone.
4. It should be light weight.
5. The output

REQUIREMENTS
(Detailed breakdown of what the product should do and
achieve.)

1. Efficiency-85%-90%
2. Backcase dimensions- depending upon the phone.
3. Fast charging-the phone should get fully charged within 45
minutes.
4. Weight should be less than 25 g.

CONSTRAINS
● 1. The cells used are not rechargeable.

● 2. Back cases are model-specific. The same back case

cannot be used for all models of phones.

CONSIDERATIONS

● Strong materials are to be used for the product to

ensure durability and proper working.

● It is power saving.

● It is made shock resistant by using appropriate

insulating materials.

● The product takes very less maintenance since it is

properly designed.

● The replacement of the parts of the product is of

completely low cost and affordable.

● Its working is totally simple and can be easily handled

by anyone.
● It is highly durable because of all its high-end features.

SPECIFICATIONS

● There should be only four slots(place where the cells

are attached) per backcase

● Size of the cell–more than that of the slot size

● Material of the backcase-more durable and weather

resistant.

● Back case –scratch resistant

● Backcase should be biodegradable

MORPHOLOGICAL CHART

THREE CONCEPT SOLUTION

CONCEPT 1
Material of the backcase : polypropylene
Circuit : wood board attached to backcase with 10 10 microfarad
capacitor.
Cell Structure :square shape cells filled with 5 microfarad
capacitors.
CONCEPT 2
Material of the backcase : polycarbonate
Circuit : silicon board attached to backcase with 20 10 microfarad
capacitors
CellStructure : triangle shape with 10 microfarad capacitors
inside

CONCEPT 3
Material of the backcase : Flax shive
Circuit : printed with 10 100 microfarad capacitors.
Cell Structure : round( oval ) with 10 microfarad capacitors inside
DECISION MATRIX

CONCEPT 1 = 40.5
CONCEPT 2 = 39.5
CONCEPT 3 = 41
CONCLUSION
Hence, after considering various parameters of the product, it's
found that the concept 3 holds good and can be accepted as a
solution for the problem.

Thus ,this modified version of our product can be more useful

and essential in the future. To make wireless charging available
to everyone stanlley sti-gers can lend us a helping hand.
