Exchange Programme Application Form

A student exchange programme is co-organized by The Institute of Technical

Education in Singapore and ENG/IVE (Tsing Yi) in Hong Kong. Students from this
institute will participate this programme in Singapore and stay in dormitory. Several
self-financing places will be offered to the Department of Engineering. The
Department meanwhile is seeking possible funds to subsidies a slight portion of the
expenses to the participants, but it is subject to availability of the funds. The content
of the programme includes engineering related project work, factory tour, sight-
seeing and cultural exchange activities. Due to limited places available, selection
criteria will be based on applicants’ English ability, participation in extracurricular
activities/ENG events and personality.

Tentative Programme Date : 28 Jul – 4 Aug ,2019 (Inclusive)

Estimated expenses: around HKD 9,500 – 11,000

I want to join this programme because I want to know about the
transportation system in Singapore, especially being a student of Studying
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, getting new information from the
worldwide is by student exchange programme is the best way to learn
knowledge. In fact, I haven’t gone Singapore before. Therefore, I think
Singapore is the most powerful and mysterious country and their life style is
very similar to Hong Kong. Aviation is the most important industry in
Singapore. From the famous airline-Singapore Airline to the awarded airport-
Changi Airport, both are the most attractive destination for aircraft lovers-like
me.
