Stitches:
Reverse Stockinette: purl RS and knit WS
Cable work: follow directions given in charts

Gauge – 15 stitches and 22 rows = 10 cm in St st. on larger needles.

DIRECTIONS

Front
Using smaller needles, CO 70 sts. using the simple CO method. Work 6 rows in
St. st ending with a RS row. Next row: purl. Work 6 more rows in St. st. Them
pick up the 69 stitches of the CO row with an ancillary needle. Fold piece WR
together and knit 1 st from the main needle and 1 st from the back needle
together.

Switching to larger needles, work in revere Stockinette St until work measures 36


cm, ending with a WS row.

Next row [RS]: p18, Chart 1, p9.

Continue in pattern until work measures 45 cm, ending with a WS row.

Shape Armholes:
BO at beginning of every other row, on both sides 3 sts, 2 sts and 1 st.(60 st)

Continue in pattern until work measures 60 cm, (15 cm from beginning of


armhole shaping), ending with a WS row.

Shape Shoulders and Neckline:


For shoulder shaping, : BO 5 sts, at the beginning of next 2 rows and 4 st. at the
beginning of next 6 rows. At the same time, shape necking, BO central 10 st.
then 4 st (1 x), 3 st (1 x) and 1 st. (1 x) every other row, on both sides of the neckline

Back
Using smaller needles, CO 70 sts. using the simple CO method. Work 6 rows in St.
st ending with a RS row. Next row: purl. Work 6 more rows in St. st. Them pick up
the 69 stitches of the CO row with an ancillary needle. Fold piece WR together and
knit 1 st from the main needle and 1 st from the back needle together.

Next row [RS]: Switching to larger needles, p18, Chart 2, p8.

Continue in pattern until work measures 45 cm, ending with a WS row.

Shape Armholes:
BO at beginning of every other row, on both sides 3 sts, 2 sts and 1 st at (60 st)

Continue in pattern until work measures 65 cm, (20 cm from beginning of armhole
shaping), ending with a WS row.

Shape Shoulders and Neckline:


For shoulder shaping, : BO 5 sts, at the beginning of next 2 rows and 4 st. at the
beginning of next 6 rows. At the same time, shape necking, BO central 10 st.
then 4 st (2 x) on both sides of the neckline

Sleeve 1
Using smaller needles, CO 34 sts. using the simple CO method. Work 6 rows
in St. st ending with a RS row. Next row: purl. Work 6 more rows in St. st.
Them pick up the 69 stitches of the CO row with an ancillary needle. Fold
piece WR together and knit 1 st from the main needle and 1 st from the back
needle together.

Next row [RS]: Switching to larger needles, work in reverse St. st. for 6 rows

Increase Row[RS]: K1, m1, work in reverse St. st, m1, k1.
Repeat this rows 7 times more, at every 4 rows 52 sts.

Continue in pattern until work measures 47 cm from beginning, ending with a


WS row.

Next row begin sleeve cape: BO 3 st at the beginning of next two rows, 2 st at
the beginning of next 4 rows and 1 st at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
Work 8 rows in reverse St. st. Decrease 1 st each side every 4 rows (4 X) and
every 2 rows (5 X). BO 3 st at the beginning of the next 2 rows, and 3 st at the
bebining of the next 2 rows. BO the remaninig 8 st.

Sleeve 2
Using smaller needles, CO 35 sts. using the simple CO method. Work 6 rows
in St. st ending with a RS row. Next row: purl. Work 6 more rows in St. st.
Them pick up the 69 stitches of the CO row with an ancillary needle. Fold piece WR
together and knit 1 st from the main needle and 1 st from the back needle together.

Next row [RS]: Switching to larger needles, p3, Chart 3, p3.

Starting on row 11, work one increase Row every 4 rows, 7 times (work increases in
reverse St. st. (52 st at the end of increases)

Continue in pattern until end, shaping increases and sleeve cape like Sleeve 1

Finishing
Sew shoulder seams, sew on sleeves, and then sew side and sleeve seams. Neck
band: pick up 62 st on neckline, using smaller needles, purl 1 row (WS) and BO.
