I. Executive Summary

The Healthy Sweets is a small type food establishment that

promotes healthy eating among customers without sacrificing its taste. It is

located in Manggahan, General Trias, Cavite beside Banco De Oro. The

location is on the main road where many students and families pass by.

There are also few food establishments nearby thus giving us competitive

advantage as there is no other food establishment with the same concept

that offers healthy foods. The Healthy Sweets aims to be the most well-

known food establishment which offers healthy deserts that can satisfy

your sweet tooth and at the same time partly fills your daily needs for

fruits and vegetable.

The Healthy Sweets is owned by Ms. Nina Mae Marasigan, the

assigned manager. The owner is a successful nurse entrepreneur and has a

great skill in handling business. The company is composed of service

crew, cashier, and a cook which are all guaranteed skilled workers.

The business offers a healthy desert called Nightingballs with

variety of flavors that customers will surely love. The food establishment

assures that every food is mostly made of fresh natural ingredients to

ensure the health benefits on every product offered.

The students from different schools and families who live near the

establishment are the main target customers of the business. The Healthy

Sweets expect to serve for the people who loves to eat healthy food and

deserts. This concept was made to make a difference which is an

advantage among other competitors near the area.

The Healthy Sweets is a sole proprietorship type business that the

expected contribution will be 100% from the owner herself. The food

establishment expect to earn P 2,516,400.00 for the first year of existence,

for second year the expected sales will be P 2,669,648.00 and for the third

year the expected sales will be P 2,669,648.00. The sales is added by 3%

to estimate the expected sales every year.

II. Mission Statement

The Healthy Sweets mission is to make the customers happy by

giving them high quality healthy. To maintain a fair and creative work

environment that respects new ideas through trends and continue to

develop in the future. And to be the food establishment of choice

known for fresh and scrumptious food, clean hygienic place to stay,

competitive prices and excellent customer service.

III. Product Offerings

i. Variety

The Healthy Sweets offers different flavors for the munchkins.

These are the following:

 Carrot flavor – a combination of dark chocolate and carrot

creates a unique taste that can satisfy your taste buds. The fun

twist is that you can’t taste the carrots so this will be good for

mom’s who wanted to make their children eat carrot. Aside

from its taste, it also benefits your eyes because carrots are

good for the eyes. Not just that, it also promotes healthier skin

because of its anti-oxidants.

 Apple Flavor – It has a rich and sweet taste because of apple’s

natural sweetness. Apples are one of the most popular fruits

and for good reason. It contains pectin, Have Prebiotic Effects

and Promote Good Gut Bacteria. It also lowers risk for

diabetes and cancer.

 Banana flavor - With its natural sweetness and nutritional

benefits, it would definitely upgrade your favorite dessert. The

combination of bananas and dark chocolate is famous because

of its light, perfect moist and sweet chocolatey taste. Bananas

help you reach your weight-loss goals, keep your bowels

healthy, provide nutrients that regulate heart rhythm and have

vitamin compounds for eye health.

In addition, each flavor has different tastes that can blend in

with the tastes of other munchkins. This will give an extra satisfaction

from the customers because they can pair the food of their own choice. All

of the products are packed with flavors and nutrients which make them

more special and pleasing to eat.

iv. Pricing Strategy

As for the pricing of the products, the business will use the

penetration pricing. This will be used because the owner concluded that

having a fair price and a good quality of food are the keys to compete to

the existing competitors along the area. In addition, the prices were based

on the market research survey where the respondents were asked to

indicate the money that they spend on food establishments offering

deserts.

IV. Target Market

The business’ target customers are students and teenagers

located close to the food establishment. Based on the market research,

it shows that teenagers/students are the customer groups that are most

likely to spend time on food establishments with a unique concept.

Nevertheless, despite the fact that there are many food establishments

nearby, the researchers intend to target the majority of the people as

the foods offered will be different and well-served by getting only

fresh ingredients to ensure food quality.

As for the advertising of the business, aside from giving fliers,

account wherein customers can see the mission and the latest products

offered by the business including the price and promos. The customers can

share their experiences to their social media friends to increase the

popularity of the business and attract more customers.

ii. Sales Strategy

The sales strategy is to concentrate on spreading the name of the

business through social media. Since social media is very powerful these

days, it is one of the fastest ways for people to recognize the business.

Increase in popularity also means increase in sales and customers. Once a

customer liked the place or the quality of foods, he/she will take a picture

of it for Instagram or will share a status on Facebook where he/she will

post about his/her experience staying on the café.

appearance and taste it might compare to the other brands like dunkin donut, krispy
Kreme, haus donut, mister donut and J.co that price ranges from 8 to 30 pesos depends on
the flavor and size of the donut. We concluded that dunkin donut has the biggest
similarity with our product based on the interview we made to our buyers because dunkin
donut offers a product called munchkins that makes similarity with our product that cost
10-15 per piece but as we compared, our product has more health benefits than them.

IX. Business Offerings

The Healthy Sweet will offer customers healthy and deliscious sweet mainly the

Nightingballs. From its very cute size to its affordable price. It will also ensure the

consumers overall desire for a chocolate and different various flavors. This product is:

 Free of artificial preservatives.

 Free of artificial colors.

 Free of chemical additives.

 Ingredients are organically grown, whenever possible.

 No harmful chemicals

 Sugar are not that high
