The Teacher’s Value Formation

A. "Do good avoid evil” is the foundational moral principle. List atleast five good things

that you have to do as a teacher and five evil things you have to avoid doing.

Good things:

 Be a flexible teacher to your student.

 Be more creative when it comes to teaching to motivate them.

 Build good communication with your students.

 Be more patient and polite with your students.

 Do not compare your students with other individual or section, it may offend

them.

Evil things you have to avoid

 Slap or do something violent to your student.

 Giving them stress and more pressure that can cause a mental break-down.

 Lowering the confidence of your student by calling them names.

 Comparing your advisory class to other classes.

 Giving favoritism
B. The golden rule for Christians is “Do to others what you would like others to do to

you”. Give a concrete application of the golden rule as you relate to a learner, to a fellow

teacher to a parent or any member of the community is to your superior.

 Applying the Golden Rule in all of your interactions with other people, such as
helping your neighbors, treating your family with kindness, and helpin a stranger

in need. When a student gives you his or her motivation for an action, imagine it

was you sitting there. Imagine it was true. Imagine that you were sitting there with

a teacher, and the teacher looked at you and you knew the teacher didn’t believe

what you said. Better yet, imagine if the teacher never even asked you why.

Then ask yourself how you would feel about whatever consequences the teacher

imposed upon your actions. There is a way to find out how we should act towards

other people as teachers in classrooms. We can ask. We can listen. We can feel

empathy and care, even when kids fall short of our – and quite probably their

own – expectations. And we can therefore take action that honors all of the

members of the classroom.

into four for the activity he prepared.

4. Supported Curriculum

 As a instructional materials he used only chalk board, chalk, white board marker.

5. Assessed curriculum

 The teacher gives the students more opportunity to answer in front. To know if

the student understand the lesson.

6. Learned Curriculum

 At the end of the discussion he gives an activity to the students and check after

to know the test result. And most of the students got the highest score.
