 ABSTRACT

This project based on ANTIQUE ONLINE SHOPPING and Antique is a

collectable item. It is collected or desirable because of its age, beauty, rarity,
condition, utility, personal emotions connection and other unique features.
This website is designed to attend to all your needs – from buying antique
product, selling antique product anywhere in the world. Online Antique
Shop (OAS) is Internet based software that can be accessed from anywhere.
Here you found the better opportunity to invest your money on valuable
antique products. Online antique shopping help us to maintain the database
of various product details and sellers information. It also help to maintain
the database of product which has been sold.

Administrator can access information of registered member across the global

environment. Only administrator can update the overall information of web
page.
If you are looking to buy, sell, invest your money on buying antiques then
here is the better place to think forward. We know it is a tiring to attend
auction or to go shop to shop to buy antique product. For such complex
process we provide a one simple online form which requires your basic
information and we will assist in sort time period.
 KEYWORDS

• User: The user has to provide accurate details in the registration

form. The information will be help full for communicating.

• Administrator: The administrator has to post the information to

the users. The administrator of the web application has to update

• Search: Search gives the details of the various antique products of

different users.
 INTRODUCTION

The central concept of the application is to allow the customer to shop

virtually using the local host (tomcat version 7.0 server) and to allow the
customer to buy the antique product. This application allow registered
member to post their ads. This information pertaining to the antique product
are stored on an RDMS at the server side. The application was designed into
two modules first for the customer who wishes to buy the articles. Second is
for the administrator who maintains and updated information of antique
product, ad posted by members and the product which has been sold.
The front end of the project is design and developed by PHP coding and
back end provided by MY SQL and server APACHE.
An antique is a collectable item, at least few years old. It is collected or
desirable because of its age, beauty, rarity, condition, utility, personal
emotions connection and other unique features. It is an object that represents
a previous era or time period in human society. In this project we will sell
antiquities, arms and armor, art, clocks, furniture and jewelry.

In existing system there are several problems are occur to buy product on the
auction of selling antique product. Buyers who are devotee to buy antique
product have to either attend auction or to go shop to shop to buy its choice
products. And moreover the place of auction is not known to each people. In
the present system all works done on paper. The auction whole sessions is
stored in register and at the end of the session the report are generated. We
are not generating report in the middle of the session or as per requirement
because it takes more time.

To solve this problem we have used this application and this application is
an online application which makes more flexible to access information about
antiques. People who want to buy and sell product and can post their
requirements on the website. And also who want to buy antique product
which is not available nearby and can search according to their requirements
even when they are working. They can also book the product in advance
without going to that location. This will eliminate all the problem of
manually finding the antique products and save the time. User will be able to
find the antique product according to their choice in a single go. In these
system chances of losing data is not possible because data is maintained in
the form of database. Everyday buy, sell and ad post information is updated
in to database.
 PROBLEM DOMAIN

In existing system there are several problems are occur to buy product on
the auction of selling antique product. Some following problems are arrived:

Buyers who are devotee to buy antique product have to either attend auction
or to go shop to shop to buy its choice products. And moreover the place of
auction is not known to each people.

To move shop to shop or to attend auction it is time consuming.

The product which the person bought from the auction has to do more
tedious paper work.

The person has to attend auction for buying the products.

The person has to do bidding to buy the product which will make the
product costlier than the actual price.

are not generating report in the middle of the session or as per requirement
because it takes more time.
 SUGGESTED SOLUTION

There are certain advantages that are definitely bound to come hand-in-hand
as this website gets more and more popular. Certain advantages are listed

 EXPECTED OUTCOME

In this project there are following expected outcome are:

• The system should have a login. A login box should appear when
the system is invoked.
• The Admin should have all the type of authority.
• The Admin should maintain product details.
• Admin has to check whether the information given by registered
member is correct.
• Eliminate the use of paper work.
• It eliminates time consuming problem.
 APPLICATION AREA

Everyone can use our project who are going to buy and sell (ad posting) of
antique product anywhere in the world. We will provide a fresh new
approach to our esteemed users to search for antique product to buy and list
their antiques for selling.
This system is a web application. It can be accessed by anywhere in the
world. Every registered user can post their ad on the webpage. It can be used
by those person who like to buy antiques for their homes and any working
places by this site person can easily buy products of their interest.
