(25 minutes) 2.Teacher tells the students that they will be Pop Quiz
answering a Pop Quiz and they have to pay Power Point
attention to two things; the answer of each Slides,
question and the animals’ pictures used for each Worksheets
question.
3.Students have to fill in the answers in the first
worksheet and do some matching for the second
worksheet based on the Pop Quiz they have
answered.
4.Teacher discusses the answer with the
students.(Evaluation)
Rationale: The usage of the Power Point Slides
is to grab their attention to learn and the
worksheets is for them to pay attention on what
they’re reading and answering in the slides.
Stage 3 1.Teacher gives another two worksheets for the Worksheets,

(30 minutes) 2.Teacher tells the students that the first
worksheet is on causes and effect of
deforestation.
3.The students underline the causes and
highlight the effects.
4.Teacher discusses with the students the
answer.
5.Teacher tells the students to fill in the blanks
in the second worksheet with the answers shown
on the LCD.
6.The students fill in either the cause or effect to
complete each sentence.
7.Teacher discusses with the students the

Rationale: The usage of worksheets of higher


level for this stage is to ensure that they are able
to produce something new based on the
knowledge they have received earlier.
