Off-page connector.
Joins to different locations
on separate pages
of the flowchart.
Punch card
Temporary paper data store.
Data in the store can be
filed numerically, alphabetically or
chronologically.
This is indicated by
an "N", "A", or "C"
inside the data store symbol.
General journal
Or
general ledger.
Flow of a document or process.
Batch total.
Annotation –
used to provide descriptions
or
explanations within the flowchart.
Physical goods or
object moving through a process
(e.g. goods deliverd by a supplier
or goods to be set to a customer).
