1. Have reliable transportation.

• I would suggest anything without fuel injection. It is easier to repair.
• It would also have less electronics.
• Try to get anything from 1980 on back unless it has been modified.
• Do not try making it look like a military vehicle, you may have to drive out of the city.
• Always have extra fuel a minimum of 10 gallons.

2. Always have tools for the vehicle(s).

• Have quality hand tools such as Snap-On, Craftsman, etc. etc.
• Make sure you have a jack or two.
• Make sure you have two jack stands.
• Make sure you have wheel chocks.
• Make sure you have electrical tools Ideal, Kline,
• Make sure you have wire hangers for either muffler pipe hanging or transfer case.
• Always have Duct tape.

3. The things needed for a tune up.

• Air filter ~ Part # ( )
• Breather Filter ~ Part # ( )
• Fuel filter ~ Part # ( )
• Thermostat ~ Part # ( )
• Thermostat gasket ~ Part # ( )
• 2 Gallons of Antifreeze ~ Uncut 100% Anti-freeze
• Oil catch pans ~ The kind with lids and a spout
• Paper shop towels ~ Scotts Shop Towels available at AutoZone.
• Hand cleaner ~ GoJo Hand cleaner with pumice
