I’m extremely excited to apply for the position of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner eCare eVirtual Health
(requisition number 1904158). Avera Health has been a wonderful company to work for, and I would
love to have the opportunity to continue my career within this health system. I’m currently an RN for the
eCare Behavioral Health assessment team and will be graduating with my Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing
in May 2020. Avera eCare’s mission is to reach underserved populations and my passion for improving
rural health care outcomes in the Midwest are a perfect match. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science
Nursing from South Dakota State University, and I’m currently licensed and actively practicing in South
Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Montana, and Kansas.

Throughout my career I’ve worked closely with psychiatry to collaborate and manage patient care. I have
inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth experience working with patients with mental illnesses. I look
forward to being responsible and accountable for the management of patient education and medication
