Application Process
- Apply for our opportunity on
AIESEC website
- Matching Team will send an - If you pass an interview, you

How to be our official
exchange participant

1. Sign acceptance note on AIESEC


website when you are informed that you
passed the interview.
2. You will have 1 week to sign the
contract, Do Leadership Development
Assessment on AIESEC website. and pay
the program fee with your EP manager.
3. Your EP manager will send us
approval and we will be able to approve
you on our opportunity.
4. Then, you will be our official
exchange participant.
Deadline for the submission of the project
Our opportunities will be closed 3 weeks before
each project starts. These are the following steps that
you should complete before the deadline.

1. You have to be approved on AIESEC website by


signing contract and pay the program fee with your EP
manager.
2. You have to submitted all of your required
documents.
3. You have to acquire Non-Immigrant type O visa,
book your flight and fill in our logistics form.

Project Objectives
The project objectives are mainly creating positive impact on the
society, and providing with one a lifetime experience in both exchange
participants and Thai students in rural area

- To build cross-cultural understanding for exchange participants, Thai


students and local Thais.

- To teach English to Thais in the rural area.

- To give exchange participants opportunities to learn and experience


more about Thai culture

- To promote diversity culture to the society

- To highlight the impact on world issues.

- To improve leadership for youth and to make them dare to step up to


be a good leader of tomorrow with good values.
Project Information
Level of students Kindergarten to Grade 9 (depends on school)
The number of students 20-45 students per class
The number of classes 3-5 classes per day
Work time 7.30-16.00 on Monday to Friday
Accommodation Mostly school dorm and at school or host
family’s house
Project fee 4000 THB (must be paid in THB)
Living condition Accommodation is located in rural area, so
facilities are not convenient and not
comfortable. WiFi may not be provided in
your accommodation. There are no hot
shower and air conditioner provided.
Food 2-3 meals per day
Pocket money At least 15000 THB

*You have to apply even though your country no need to use visa for entering Thailand
Conditions
- Exchange participants must arrive in Thailand on arrival day.
*We only provide airport pick-up on arrival day at 9am-8pm

- Picking up earlier or later than 9am-8pm respectively will be
charged 800 THB
- Requesting for original documents to apply visa will be
charged depends on the distance between Thailand to your
country and must pay with project fee

Location: East of Thailand
Duration: 4 - 4.30 hours
away from Bangkok
Temperature: 26-37 C
Information: The
inhabitants of Trat are
largely farmers and
fisherman, and the
province’s biggest tourism
attraction is the Koh Chang
Marine National Park.
Example of Thai classroom
- A local teacher will provide an exchange
participant teaching schedule.
- Mostly, you will have to teach your
students alone.
- You will have to teach your students 45-60
minutes per class. (depends on the schedule)
- Thai students cannot speak English at all.
- Local teachers can speak English a little bit.
Example of living condition
- Bedroom: Thin mattress & mosquito net are provided in each
accommodation.

- Bathroom: Squat toilets, take a bath by using the water in a big jar.

- There is electricity and water system in every accommodation.

- WiFi may not be provided.

- There are no air conditioner, no hot shower and no refrigerator.

- Traditional wooden house

- There will be a local teacher or host family taking care of you.

- Public transportations are inaccessible.

*Some house may have better conditions. It depends on school’s decision. Please note that this is standard of living in the rural area.
