Ica: Mi ciudad Favorita

Ica es una ciudad súper divertida ubicada en el sur del Perú. Es una ciudad con
un gran pasado histórico. Tierras que vieron crecer culturas como Paracas, Wari,
Nazca e Ica.
Ica es la ciudad de los vinos, textiles y agricultura. Tiene muchos lugares para
conocer, disfrutar y divertirse.

 Huacachina:
La Huacachina es uno de los pocos oasis naturales que hay en el país, es
una mezcla de dunas, palmeras, guarangos que rodean el lugar. En el
pasado, los iqueños acudían a este lugar porque se le atribuían grandes
propiedades curativas. Actualmente, es muy visitado por los turistas y
viajeros que visitan la ciudad de Ica. En especial las dunas que rodean la
laguna, son un excelente lugar para la práctica de deportes de aventura
como el sandboard y el motocross.

 Reserva nacional de Paracas:

Es una de las reservas más protegidas de la costa, está ubicada en Pisco.
Tiene el deber de proteger a las diversas especies de flora y fauna silvestres
que se encuentran en ese lugar.
Entre los animales se encuentran los pelícanos, la gaviota gris, el cóndor, el
pingüino de Humboldt, parihuanas o flamencos, entre otras especies como
lobos marinos, pelícanos, tortugas verdes, pulpos, etc.

 Cachiche:
El cachiche se encuentra a 4km al sur de Ica, pueblo conocido por sus brujas
que desde siglos pasados curaban toda clase de males y daños. Está
rodeado de palmera datileras y viejos guarangos que le dan un ambiente
siniestro. En la actualidad se puede observar una estatua alusiva a la bruja,
ubicada sobre un tronco de guarango.

 Pisco y la fiesta de la vendimia:

Es uno de los mayores atractivos de la provincia de Ica, por su producción de
pisco, los cuales están considerados como los mejores del Perú. Actualmente
hay una gran variedad de tragos que derivan del pisco, para todos los gustos.
La fiesta de la vendimia abarca ferias, concursos, desfiles de carros
alegóricos, festivales de música, fiestas donde se baila el festejo y la elección
de la señorita Vendimia y los deportes de aventura. Se celebra en el mes de
marzo.

 Museo regional Adolfo Bermúdez Jenkins:

Expone una colección de piezas de las culturas Paracas, Nazca, Huari, Ica
e Inca. Asimismo, muestra lienzos y muebles de épocas pasadas.
 Bosque de las piedras:
En este inmenso bosque de piedras podemos observar las más caprichosas
formaciones rocosas. Este lugar es conocido como los Frailes.
En sus seis hectáreas se aprecia una enorme tortuga, un gorila sentado o un
feroz cocodrilo esperando su presa, caprichosas figuras que fueron talladas
por los fuertes vientos a través de millones de años. Un lugar hermoso para
visitar.

 Carapulcra con sopa seca:

En la región Ica existe un plato típico que no puede faltar en ninguna reunión,
cuyo sabor es picante, que lleva carne de cerdo, a la que se le acompaña
con unos fideos verdes, y es la rica y exquisita Carapulcra con sopa seca.
Plato proveniente de la provincia de chincha y muy amado por los turistas
que visitan Ica.
 Ica: My favorite City

the dunes that surround the lake, are an excellent place to practice adventure
sports such as sandboarding and motocross.

 Paracas National Reserve:

It is one of the most protected reserves on the coast, it is located in Pisco. It
has the duty to protect the various species of wild flora and fauna found in that
place.
Among the animals are the pelicans, the gray seagull, the condor, the
Humboldt Penguin, parihuanas or flamingos, among other species such as sea
lions, pelicans, Green turtles, octopuses, etc.

 Cachiche:
The cachiche is 4km south of Ica, a town known for its witches who have cured
all kinds of evils and damage since past centuries. It is surrounded by date
palm and old guarangos that give it a sinister atmosphere. At present, you can
see a statue alluding to the witch, located on a trunk of guarango.

 Pisco and the harvest festival:

It is one of the biggest attractions of the province of Ica, for its Pisco production,
which are considered to be the best in Peru. There are Currently a wide variety
of drinks derived from pisco, for all tastes.
The vintage party includes fairs, competitions, parades of floats, music
festivals, parties where the celebration and the election of Miss Vendimia and
adventure sports are dances. It is celebrated in the month of March.

 Adolfo Bermúdez Jenkinz Regional Museum:

Exhibits a collection of pieces from the Paracas, Nazca, Huari, Ica and
Inca cultures. It also shows canvases and furniture from past eras.
 The Stone Forest:
In this immense Stone Forest we can observe the most capricious rock
formations. This place is known as the Friars.
In its six hectares you can see a huge turtle, a sitting gorilla or a fierce crocodile
waiting for its prey, capricious figures that were carved by strong winds over
millions of years. A beautiful place to visit.

 Carapulcra with dry soup:

In the Ica región There is a typical dish that can´t be missed in any meeting,
whose flavor in spicy, that carries pork, which is accompanied with some
Green noodles, and is the rich and exquisite Carapulcra with dry soup.
