HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT ON NYSC PORTAL USING REMITA PAY ENGINE

 From the Home Page, Click "Already Have Account-click here to Login-". Enter your email and
password to login
 Click on "Click Here To Make Payment" after successful login
 When Payment Confirmation page is displayed, Click on "Proceed to Payment"
 You get redirected to Remita Payment Engine with various payment options
 For Cards and Wallet Payments
Click on “Pay now with cards or wallets”
 Provide card details, pin and whatever other information required
 On successful transaction, the redirect URL is loaded with the status of the transaction
 This completes the Remita Cards/Wallet payment process
 To pay at any Bank Branch
Copy the RRR number generated and take to any of the approved banks
 After making the payment, the payment status can be checked on this URL:
https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/TransactionStatus_remita as seen below.
 CHECK STATUS OF TRANSACTIONS ON REMITA
1. http://nysc.org.ng/nysc1/TransactionStatus_RemitaNavigate to Service ->
2. Provide transaction reference number (order id)/Email Address
3. Click on "Continue" to query Remita and view the transaction detail
 Click on “Get Status” to view the details of payment

How to Upload O’Level Result on JAMB.


1. Log-in to your JAMB profile (https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility_/)
2. Click on ‘Check Admission Status,
3. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’
4. Click on ‘My O’level result to confirm if your O’level is uploaded. If not visit any
nearby accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office to upload your O’level result.
Admission cannot be processed for candidates whose O’level status in CAPS indicates
‘Awaiting Result’.

Basic Information

o Applicants must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and possess a National Identity Card.
o Possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in
WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be in English Language.
o In addition to the above qualification, those applying for Tradesmen/women must also
possess OND/Trades Test/City and Guild Certificate.
o Be between the ages of 18 - 22 years for non-tradesmen/women while tradesmen/women
must be between the ages of 18 - 26 years by 1st March 2019.
o Not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.62 metres tall for male and female candidates
respectively.
o Knowledge of additional Nigerian language other than mothers tongue is an added
advantage.

Assignment
You just came back from your practical experience, do a synopsis of all your
knowledge while you were out there. In three pages.

I did my practical experience in Nigeria armed reference hospital Kaduna. Starting


from the 27th may to 13th of September 2019.
My first day at 44 NARHK, I was taken around the hospital, and I was introduced
to many department that are in the hospital, and some of the department are:

 Theater department
 Physiology department
 Public department
 Ward 8b, which is authopaedic
 R&R, which is rest and recuperation sward.
 Accident and emergency ward
 Pediatric department.
 ANC department, which is the Antenatal care department.

There in the hospital I learnt so many things which I have never experienced
before. The practical experienced. The practical experience has really helped me
to expand and improve in my learning ability both medically, physically and
socially and I have really learnt a lot.

Briefly, some of the things I’ve learnt are as follows:

 Hypertension is a condition which the blood pressure measures with


sphygmomanometer is above normal range. Types of hypertension which
include; primary hypertension: a type of hypertension that rises and fall in
other words it is an unstable hypertension. Secondary hypertension: they
are the types that are always high.
 Wound: is said to occur when the continuity of the skin or mucus
membrane is broken. And types of wounds include; incused wound: the
wound occurs when the skin is broken by a sharp instrument. Punctured
wound: the depth of this type of wound is greater than the length and
there is danger of deep organs being damaged. Lacerated wound: the skin
and tissues are torn rather than clean cut.
 Some things needed for wound dressing include: eusol, gloves, savlon,
hydrogen peroxides, methylated spirit, bandages, sterile gauze, cotton
wool, iodine etc.
 I also learnt about splints; a splint is a device used to immobilize a part of
the body. Types of splints include: soft splints, hard splints, air or vacuum
splints, traction splint s.
 A burn is the accidental damage to the skin, mucous membrane or
conjunctiva. Stages of burn include: A 1st degree burn that causes
reddening of the skin and affects only the epidermis, the top layer of the
skin. A 2nd degree burn damages the skin more deeply compare to the first
degree burn. A 3rd degree burn destroys the full skin thickness.

 Cancer: a group of disease characterized by the normal and unrestrained


growth of cells in the body organs or tissues. And types of cancer include :
the lung cancer, stomach cancer, blood cancer, breast cancer, brain cancer
etc.
 Tuberculosis: is an infectious disease commonly called TB, caused by the
bacterium mycobacterium tuberculosis. And TB is usually transmitted in air
borne droplets expelled when an infected person coughs or sneezes. And it
signs and symptoms include: night sweating, persistence cough, loss of
appetite, chest pain, shortening of breath, weight loss, fever etc.
 Pre-eclampsia: is a condition that occurs only during pregnancy, some
symptoms of the pre-eclampsia may include: high blood pressure and
protein in the urine occurring after week 20 of pregnancy.
 Exclusive breastfeeding : is the process of feeding an infant with only
breast milk, and no other liquid or solids are given, not even water. With
the exception of oral rehydration fluids of vitamins, minerals or medicines
for six months.
 Immunization is the process of introducing antigen into the process of
introducing antigen into the body to boost the body immunity; immunity is
the body ability to resist infection or diseases. Immunity is of different
types which include: active, passive, artificial, and natural immunity.
 Preventable and clinical medicine: preventable medicines are measures
taken to diseases prevention. While clinical medicine is the study and
practices of medicine based on direct observation of patient which deals
with diagnosis and treatment and disease management.
