HUMAN PROGRESS_ FRIEND OR ENEMY OF ENVIRONMENT

Human inventions have had great impact at the level of nature and the environment since many of
them require industrial processes that generate large amounts of waste and the generation of toxic
substances that generate air pollution and in turn that generates a change in addition to these
natural habitats, these industries, by generating a large amount of toxic substances, have caused
the earth's temperature to increase exponentially every year. All this as a consequence generates
us an alteration in the climate, and as consequences we have infertility in the previously arable land
thus forming a desert area, melting of the glaciers which also affects the habitat of some animals
and also their extinction, such as bears polar. Many industries do not have adequate control of the
waste, often eliminating them to the environment without taking into account the dangers that it
can generate, many of these wastes are eliminated to rivers and seas having a great impact on the
flora and fauna found in these sites, sometimes fish are the source of food for many people, and
being contaminated also generate disease in the population.

On the other hand, some inventions require natural resources that are not renewed quickly and
require many years to be restored which causes a resource deficit, such as cutting down trees for
paper creation.

Other inventions require an animal resource, such as their skin for the textile industry, which makes
many of these animals are in danger of extinction.

A very useful invention has been the creation of means of transport, since they help to be closer to
our loved ones or to know the wonders of the world, however, it also has a negative impact on the
environment and nature since as We know these expel a large amount of carbon dioxide and other
hydrocarbons thus contributing to global warming.

In my opinion, we all have a great challenge to change the planet, if we are more aware of the things
we do we could generate an important change, if we started recycling, we would contribute to
climate change starting to decline, in addition to this if governments propose and establish sanctions
for those who do not strictly comply with the health measures of their companies contribute
significantly to environmental change since this would significantly reduce pollution not only of air
but also of water and thereby preserve the flora and the fauna of our planet.

In my town there is a lot of nature, the rivers have been affected by the pollution of the industry
since many times they irrigate fossil fuels to the rivers, if this continues, many local species would
disappear.
I wish, I would change this, but in this moment I cannot, If I graduated, I would like to help people
more from my profession.

It is good to know that the thoughts of people are changing for the improvement of nature, and
many companies point their policies to the care of this, in addition there are many investigations to
take care as much as possible to the improvement of nature
