I. JOB TITLE: STORE MANAGER


II. CORE FUNCTION
Responsible for the total achievement of specific store goals and objectives such as, but not limited to,
increasing sales, reduction of controllable expenses improved store profitability and managing store
employees
I. JOB CONTENT/GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
A.To implement the following store functions, within their assigned store, such as: ordering,
management of the store environment, display management, product assortment, human
resources duties, customer service, information collection, financial performance, and business
obligations and regulations
B.To achieve store specific performance targets and ensure effective store management.
C.To train, coach, and guide store staff in the performance of basic store tasks and
responsibilities.

IV. EXPECTED DELIVERABLES


A.Achievement of the following based on targets:
a.Average Per Store Day Sales
b.Operation Expenditures
c.Net Income Before Sellex
d.0.05% of Sales Inventory Variation
e.Must to Carry Out of Stock (MTC-OOS)
f.Handy Terminal Out of Stock (HT-OOS)
g.86% target of Store Quality Assessment Checklist
h. Mystery Shop I-View Rate & 5Ps
i. Sales per Store Complement
j. Case Situation Analysis (Case Studies) and plans
B.On time and accurate Cash Deposit as scheduled.
C.Various reports associated with store functions.

V. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


A. Monitors and reviews store sales performance daily and conducts comparative analysis of
sales, customer count and average transaction vs. last year and monthly targets.
Ensures effective store management on the following key areas:

1.accomplishment of basic store responsibilities which is ordering and counting
2.implementation of best customer service
3.Preserving the 7-eleven store image of clean, safe and pleasant environment based on
acceptable standards.
4.Regular checking of products in terms of quality and freshness
5.Ensures that display management is complied with according to the planogram guide
C.Implements strictly the policies and procedures that the company has established.
D.Monitors, controls and reduces operating expenses to improve store profitability through the
following efforts:
1.Handling personnel planning, labor forecasting and labor scheduling
2.Tracking of job schedules to make sure that the day's tasks have been well accomplished
3.Encoding work hours rendered by his personnel in the DTR template based on physical DTR_

4.Monitoring all store expenses to determine certain areas where there is overspending
5.Ensuring that security guard man-hours are fully maximized by proper scheduling for safety
and control of inventory related transactions
E.Trains and coaches store staff in the performance of basic store tasks and responsibilities.
F.Assists his personnel with work-related problems and duties to be performed when needed.
G.Updates, records and submits required reports and templates to units concerned.
H. Conducts regular performance evaluation assessment of store personnel according to

measurable goals.
I. Checks and inspects all inventory related transactions including receiving, cash reports, shift

worksheet, transfers etc.


J. Hires and trains Full- Time and Part-time Sales Associate to address his own manpower needs
and informs them about company regulations.
K. Trains and instructs subordinates on how to accomplish necessary report sheets.
L. Conducts performance management to ensure optimization of each store employee's work

efficiency.
M. Performs succession planning for potential store managers.
N. Plans for reduction of material costs and other expenses.
0. Recommends solutions to store operations problems to Area Manager.
P. Submits monthly reports on sales and budget to AM.
Q. Prepares proposals to AM to increase customer count through price adjustments or promotions.
R. Recommends deletion of merchandise items that can be replaced with much better ones.
S. Provides AM with feedback regarding new product launching.
T. Prepares the store for monthly audit and accomplishes necessary reports to facilitate
reconciliation.
U. Conducts competitive price survey and reports newly opened competitors near his/her store

location.
V. Prepares the store for monthly audit and accomplishes necessary reports to facilitate

reconciliation.
W. Ensures proper deposit of store sales from cash counting to actual deposit of cash.
X. Manages and safe keeps all valuable merchandise like prepaid phone cards among others.
Y. Performs all other duties as assigned by top management.

VI. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS


A.College Graduate in any course
B.Has attended all prerequisite training courses and seminars
C.Has to be equipped with effective planning strategies.
D.Must be analytical and very decisive.
E.Must have leadership skills and attributes.
F.Can hire and train store personnel.
G.Knowledgeable in all aspects of store operations.
H.Capable of identifying possible solutions to store-related problems.
I.With excellent interpersonal skills.
J.Can communicate well with almost all types of people.
K.Highly flexible and can work under extreme time pressure.
L.Has to be results-oriented.
M.Must be computer literate.
