Sampling
• Method The sampling method is opportunity sampling.
• Size The sample size is about 30 kids.
• Participant I will gather information about relevant characteristics of the participants
Characteristics by having a designated box on the informed consent form. (Native
English speaker, age, gender)

Assigning Participants

Independent Samples Design Repeated Measures Design

I will assign participants to the groups by I will deal with order effects by
random selection. They will each be assigned
a number, and the number will be picked from
a bowl at random.

Informed Consent The form has been designed and printed and I will save one blank form
for my report.

Debriefing I will debrief participants by holding a meeting with the participants

after the completion of the experiment and statistical analysis.
I have prepared the necessary notes/form and will save a copy from my
report.

Time and Place My SBC is aware of my experiment and I have finalised its time and
place.

My experiment will be conducted on Monday, 7th October 2019 .

Standardized I have finalized the standardized instructions and will save a copy for my
Instructions report.

Apparatus and All apparatus and materials are ready and I will save a copy for my
Materials report.

Final Checklist for the IA Experiment

Declaration:
I, Seerat Bagga, understand that collaboration with my group members ends once we have
shared our raw data. I will calculate my own statistics and I will not share or discuss my
results with any group members. I will write the IA in my own words and will not share
drafts of my report with others.
