Why human beings are the best creation of God, among all creatures created

by the supreme power of the universe?. There can be a different answer

to this question. One may be, a man is only one, who endowed with the gift
of gab (talking) and power of laughing. Above this, another fact is, man
is the only creations who can pursuit dharma in his life because of the
presence of his consciousness. No other creature can do this. Answering
a question of a devotee, “Why the life of human beings is so invaluable?
Sree Sree Thakur said “human beings, only, have the ability to take his
life to the next level towards Godhood by doing Sadhana (pursuit of
spirituality). That is why the life of a human being is invaluable and
precious. Dr. Alexis Carrel says “God has created man after his own image.
Whenever God has taken incarnation, He comes in the form of humans only.
So human being is essentially very much similar to God except the degree
of qualities.

Coordinated movement of physique and spirit is present in spirituality.

Science says every matter is a different form of energy. Spirit is that
by which our physical body lives on. There is no meaning of physic without
spirit. So spirit and physic are two sides of our existence. There is no
gap between these two. Sree Sree Thakur does not believe in spirituality
where physic is excluded. Spiritual practice is not possible without a
healthy body.

Our existence wants to nurture himself, preserve himself and want to

expand to many. For this purpose, shadripu (six enemies) like lust, anger,
greed, pride, fascination or attachment, jealousy is created in mind.
These are called passion or complexes. When these complexes take control
of our minds, we deviate from the righteous path. So we lose our
self-control capability and this leads to a split-personality (not
integrated). Without an intact personality, good coordination does not
happen in all aspects of life. Which means we may be very good in some
area of life and very bad in other areas. For example, a successful
professional may not have a peaceful family life or vise-Versa. To have
self-control ability, we need to convert our passion- craving urge to
passion pervading urge or life urge.

To get rid of passion-craving urge, we need a superior living personality

in our life and we should have an urge only to make Him happy. He may be
called ideal or master. Out of enticement to make Him happy, we skip the
temptation of passion unknowingly. For making Him happy, one must move
with an active and ideal-centric life. This type of approach in life can
be aptly called as spirituality. Materialistic life or money cannot give
self-control, rather, it deprives us of self-control. In a nutshell,
spirituality is necessary to obtain self-control.

Is materialistic development is not possible without spiritual

development? Sree Sree Thakur says "We all know that every matter is
created out of energy. If the spirit is energy then matter is another form
of this energy". Then, without spiritual development, materialistic
development impossible.

An active spirituality will prosper with material development also. He

says true material development is true spiritual development. Material
development is created from complexes, that is rocket-like. It does not
survive for long. But, if this material development is a companion of
spiritual development, then man does not get unbalance or does not get
obsessed with any other thing. So the chances of falling down are less.
A rich man may not be a great man but each great man is an invariably rich
man. They do not want money, rather money follows them. A renowned novelist
and politician Benito mussolin said “when money alone is concerned, I
am nothing but a wizard. But I always deal with the spiritual essence and
money flows spontaneously”.

Someone asked Sree Sree Thakur, western countries are good in material
development but we do not find much spirituality there. Sree Sree Thakur
said they are sincere, do hard work, they have inquisitiveness and they
are actively conscious about the development of the environment and
society. So they are materially developed. But this is true that the
permanence of material development depends upon the spiritual factor. So
the foundation of our material development should be spiritual
development.

We may find someone having an exuberance of emotion, realizing tenor

towards ideal, but, when their ego gets hurt or their personal interest
is hampered, they leave the ideal or master as if there was no bonding
or attachment. This means the attachment was only to fulfill personal
interest. Unreppeling and active adherence for the master is the key to
prosper in spiritual life.
Selection of Master or Guru and sincerely following Him without any
personal interest are the two important factors of spiritual life. How
to select a Guru? For example, I have not seen God but I want to follow
God. For this, I need the company of someone who loves and follows God
in all respect. This divine personality is a true master. Divine man is
always spontaneously loving and serviceable. They are normally adjusted
solved man. They have no passionate craving urge, rather, they have
passion pervading urge.

Only material development will increase the demoniac characteristic in

a person. Which will ruin both self and other life? So Sree Sree Thakur
wants a perfect balance between material development and spiritual
development. One has to be complimentary of other. Spiritual development
to be accomplished keeping material development as the foundation and
material development should be pursued out of Spiritual development. Then
only, we can enjoy our life fully and perfectly. We should emphasize the
Love for superior beloved Master, that is the eternal property of our
existence and as it swells, spirituality grows to that extent within us.
So the essence of spirituality to follow to the living ideal with active
and un-tottering adherence to achieve bliss in life.
