I. Objectives:
A. Describe the different weather conditions
B. Act out activities that can be done in different weather condition

Materials: strips of cartolina, colorful pictures, manila paper, picture puzzle, stick puppet, audio
recording, graphic organizer
Science Concepts:
Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, dryness, sunshine,
wind, rain, etc. The different weather conditions are cloudy, rainy, stormy, windy and sunny day.

III. Procedure:

1. Prayer The pupils stand for a prayer.
2. Checking of attendance (The leader of each column will report the

Stormy day? If the sun cannot be seen, the rain did not stop,
lightning and thunder occurs, strong wind

D. Practice Exercise through stick puppets


Tell the weather in each situation that the
puppets will present. Listen to the audio
presentation.

The class will be divided into 5 groups.
Each group will be given a graphic organizer. (Class will be divided into groups.)
They will fix the picture puzzle of different
weather, its name and definitions and put it on
the organizer. The fastest group will be given
a reward.

IV. Evaluation:
A. Draw the weather. Describe each weather condition by drawing them in each box.
