Evidence: My motivators

Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that
guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful
experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most
commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to
organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least
important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your
professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned
in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my
motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how
to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very
good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

Composition
Everything begins by being competent in what is done, being competent does not
guarantee money or fame, but the reputation and recognition that we reflect in our
work.

The challenges have motivated me to fight against adversities and situations that
life puts us in some circumstances, and in different areas, this makes me
personally grow more and more.

Obviously there must be interest in something, since it is essential to stubbornly

pursue an idea. Otherwise, it would be disinterested.

The lifestyle must be fundamental for you, since you struggle to have a lifestyle,
whatever it is, you struggle to achieve it, in a certain way, and above all to be as
you want to be.

There must be a variety of ideas, resources and concepts in everything you do,
since repeating the same thing can make one obsolete.

The recognition is there, but if one is simple and humble, it does not matter,
because it is transitory.

Relationships are necessary between human beings, since from them alliances
are formed to achieve common goals, which would otherwise be difficult to
achieve.

You must have security in everything that is done, to undertake, do, and get
involved in something, and more you must have security in God and in yourself at
the maximum point, since if you look for it in others, it will end up failing

Being independent is sometimes good and helps as a motivator, you know what
you have, what you can invest and, sometimes, you can reach the goal alone.

Money is never motivating, here in Colombia you finish a professional career for
which you spend millions of money and when you are finally working everything
you earn, it is not enough to pay everything invested in your education.
