Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a tropical climate, very rich in biodiversity, and belongs to an
agrarian country. Agriculture in Indonesia has never lost its role in contributing to the country's GDP.
Half of all workers in Indonesia, both directly and indirectly, work in the agricultural sector. But in fact,
the contribution of the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries GDP sectors is not the biggest contributor to
Indonesia's GDP. Therefore, this research is focused on empirically examining the effect of GDP on the
agricultural sector, especially the subsector of food crop GDP, horticultural crop GDP, and plantation
GDP on Indonesian GDP. This analysis uses independent variables such as GDP of food crops, GDP of
horticultural crops, and plantation GDP and the dependent variable is Indonesian GDP. In this study
using the inference analysis method with data used in the analysis are secondary data from Badan Pusat
Statistik, Indonesian GDP from 2015 in the first quarter to 2019 in the second quarter. The chosen
analytical method is multiple linear regression because the number of independent variables used is more
than one variable. The results showed that three independent variables consisting of GDP of food crops,
GDP of horticultural crops, and plantation GDP together had a significant effect on PBD in Indonesia.
Then, partially the variable GDP of food crops and GDP of positive horticulture plants has a significant
effect on PBD in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the variable GDP of the estate has no significant effect on GDP
in Indonesia.

Statistik, yaitu PDB Indonesoa mulai tahun 2015 triwulan I sampai tahun 2019 triwulan II.
