Chapter I

Introduction

A. Background of the study

The main purpose of wireless charging is to connect with the
object to charge or recharge the battery of any devices such as
cellular. Wireless charging is making inroads in the healthcare,
automotive and manufacturing industries because it offers the
promise of increased mobility and advances that could allow tiny
internet of things devices to get power many feet away from a
charger.

Most of the teenagers nowadays spend a lot of time in using

their cellular devices. Most of them use their device regardless
of its battery percentage thus charging is a must. And wired
chargers are not easy to untangled. They can’t go anywhere
especially if their device is charging, so we the researchers
thought of a research proposal regarding the said problem.

In this study, the researches will use a resistor, transistor,

bridge type diodes, copper wires, USB cables and 9V adaptor. The
researchers aim to create a wireless charger to benefit those who
want to use their cellular device while charging regardless of the
distance.
B. Statement of the Problem
Nowadays, in our community there is a lot of problem in charging
with connectors. Most teenagers problems are untangling
connectors, misplacing adapters and often interrupted wires.

1. Will this be a good answer to the problem of the community in

using their phone while charging?

2. Can this device can be used within 30cm?

3. Is there any significant difference between a wired charger and

a wireless charger in terms of easy charging of the phone?

C. Objective of the Study

This projects aims to facilitate the charging of the device

Specifically , ****

1. To design a wireless
D. Significance of The Study
This research study is design to help the following:
A. Teenagers
This project is the good replacement to hassle free
charging.

Review of Related literature

Wireless charging technology has been around for more than

100 years. Imagine your smartphone’s battery is dead. Until now,
first you must find the charging cable, then connect it to your
phone and finally plug it into an outlet. The process works, but
it can be a nuisance. Especially if your cable is playing hide
and seek or if the jack doesn’t fit the cable. Wireless charging
removes the hassle of re-fueling your devices.
All thanks to a wireless charging power supply. There are
many reasons why you should choose wireless charging for your
application. In addition to the obvious ones, like no need to
plug in a device and no plug compatibility issues, it’s also
safer since there is no contact with exposed electrical
connectors. Further, it’s reliable in harsher environments, such
as drilling and mining. It also allows for seamless on-the-go
charging whether in the car or in public places. Finally, it
eliminates tangled charging cables while allowing you to charge
multiple devices in parallel. Wireless charging is making
inroads in the healthcare, automotive and manufacturing
industries because it offers the promise of increased mobility
and advances that could allow tiny internet of things, devices
to get power many feet away from a charger.
Wireless charging is an important issue sensor networks,
since it can provide an emerging and effective solution in the
absence of other power supplies. The experimental results show
that the proposed approach can significantly maximize the
lifetime of the wireless sensor network.
