‘VIDHIOTSAV’ Autumn Edition, 2019 was the second of the bi -annual law fest to be

organized by UPES School of Law and was held from 26th to 29th September, 2019. The fest
comprised of various academic competitions and events, which witnessed the participation of
students across law schools in India.
The total participation in the fest from other colleges was around 550 and the participation
within the college was more than 500 students.

Following events were organized under Vidhiotsav Autumn Edition, 2019:


1. IV National Techno Legal-Moot Competition, 2019
2. II International Conference on Law and Technology, 2019
3. VIII National Parliamentary Debate Competition, 2019
4. I National Difficult Dialogue Competition, 2019
5. II Surana & Surana and UPES School of Law National Insolvency Law Moot Court
Competition, 2019
6. VII National Client Counselling Competition, 2019
7. V National Youth Parliament Competition, 2019

The Moot Court Association, School of Law successfully organized the second edition of
‘Surana & Surana AND UPES School of Law National Insolvency Law Moot Court
Competition, 2019’ in association with its esteemed joint organizer Surana & Surana
International Attorneys, Chennai & New York. Student teams from National Law Schools,
Central Universities, State Universities, Private Universities and other top law colleges across
India participated in this competition.

The moot team from University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University was adjudged
Winners while the moot team from Sastra (deemed to be) University were adjudged runners-
up. Several other categories of awards were also bestowed upon on different teams/students in
the valedictory ceremony. The details of them are as follows:

1. Second Best Memorial- Cash Prize: Rs. 2500/-
