expected to evolve their own philosophy of education.
 PROF ED 11- Alternative 60 - This course explores the field of alternative education as an
Education emerging discipline that addresses various educational needs
within and outside the formal delivery system. Pre- service
students will be provided with learning experiences that will enable
them to examine the philosophy, theory, and practice of alternative
education.

 PROF ED 12- Relevant 60 - This course familiarizes pre-service students laws relevant to the
Laws for Learners and rights and duties of teachers. Students will be given an opportunity
Teachers to apply legal principles learned on specific case problems.

 PROF ED 14- 60 - This course prepares students to conduct research in education.

reading program for an identified group of learners.
 PROF ED 9 – 60 - This course is designed to equip the students with the basic

 PROF ED 13 – 60 - The course introduces students to contemporary and emerging


Developments in trends, movements , and innovations in education. Students will

 PERS.ED 1 – 30 - The course introduces the freshman students to the nature,


Teacherhood realities and challenges of teaching as a profession. Through
varied experiential activities, they are given the opportunity to
reflect on teaching as their career choice. Appropriate and
interesting activities are likewise provided to help the students
develop the right attitude towards their course and eventually their
commitment to teaching. To facilitate their adjustment in this
University , this course includes a discussion on the mission,
vision, goals, philosophy as well as the rules and regulations of
the University.
 PERS.ED 2 – The 30 - This course is designed to help the prospective teachers develop
Teacher’s Personality –A a pleasing personality with emphasis on personal hygiene, good
grooming, poise and posture, proper choice of clothes for different
occasions, appropriate use of accessories and different ways of
enhancing one’s personal attributes. in this course, the students
are guided to discover techniques in personality improvement and
develop self –confidence as they learn to appreciate their worth as
unique individuals.

 PERS.ED 3 – The 30 - This course focuses on the self-attributes of a teacher as a role


Teacher’s Personality –B model; the self –esteem, lifestyle, high level of professionalism,
concomitants and the ways of enhancing one’s personality to meet
the expectations of mentors.

 PERS.ED 5- Leadership 30 - This course guides the students in assuming their leadership roles
Training and Group as future teachers. It provides both theoretical and practical
Processes application of enhancing leadership skills by discovering and
developing leadership potentials. It stresses on developing
personality traits by clarifying goals, vision, functions and
responsibilities of a teacher, which are the foundation for building
positive relationships with others. It also includes hands-on

 PERS.ED 6- Career 30 - This course prepares the prospective teachers to handle the
Planning and challenging and complex professional world of teaching. It
Employment provides the students with a theoretical framework opportunity for
career planning by exploring career goals, interests, skills, values
and achievements. Through experiential activities it provides
opportunity to assess students’ level of readiness for worlds of
work in teaching.
 G-VED 01 – Values 60 - Ang pagpapaunlad ng mga potensyal ng tao ayon sa iba’t-ibang

pamumuhay sa lipunan at maka-angkop sa kasalukuyang

 FS 4 – Instructional 28 - The course is designed to enrich the students’ experiences in


Materials Development developing and utilizing appropriate instructional materials to
facilitate learning. It provides the students hands-on opportunities
to select teaching materials that best suit the needs of the
learners.

 FS 6 – The Teaching 28 - The course is designed to bring about real life and vicarious
Profession and Relevant experiences of a pre- service teacher. It gives emphasis on the
laws for Teachers and characteristics of a teacher as a person and as a professional.
Students The students are provided with an opportunity to analyse the
educational previsions of the constitutions which identify the
competencies that make up a professional in the classroom, in the
community and in the world.
