Dracula comes from Transylvania to London as seen in the film.
Van Helsing stakes the vampire and believes him dead. Dracula used his hypnotic powers
to convince Van Helsing he had been destroyed without cutting off his head. Dracula's
body slowly decays in the weeks to come into a skeleton with the stake in his heart. Van
Helsing returns to the Netherands and the Harkers move to Paris.
After telling their incredible tale Carfax Abbey is purchased by the Godalming family,
friends of the Sewards. Lord Godalming seals the lower levels and leaves it to rot.
1933
Adventurer and friend of Arthor Holmwood, Lord Godalming, Quincy Morris secretly
explores the catacombs after hearing of the incredible tale of Dracula. Finding the coffin
he is overome by the urge to remove Dracula's ring and accidentaly dislodges the stake.
Dracula awakens and bites Morris, enslaving him to his will.
The pair recover a cache of coins and cash and prepares for passage overseas to New
York, the to New Orleans.
