TECHNICAL PROPOSAL
for the development of the design of unmanned surface vehicleon the basis of WIG-craft

The concept design team of the RDC Aqualines have investigated the the possibility of the
development of the unmanned surface vehicle (USV) on the basis of the WIG-craft design concept that is
currently being developed by RDC Aqualines company. This USV can be applied for cargo transportation,
observation and scientific research at sea or other purposes.
The conceptual design team had undertaken the preliminary steps to assess the possibility of
development of the USV-WIG. Below, the conceptual technical design of such vehicle is presented.

For the further activities in the design of USV-WIG craft the conceptual design team needs the
data related to the desired characteristic of the mentioned vehicle:

Cargo parameters
1. Required payload of the USV (total weight of the cargo for transportation);
2. Total inner capacity of the cargo compartment (in liters);
3. Presumable dimensions of the cargo package (standard aviation containers or other);
4. Presumable loading/unloading methodology (by human, by the forklift or other loading
equipment);

Operation characteristics
5. Presumable cruising speed;
6. Presumable operational range (autonomous moving distance with the full tanks);
7. Presumable methodology of the descent to water surface (from shore, from ship or other);
8. Any other desired characteristics (engine type, materials of the craft hull etc.)

We are pleased to invite the interested customers to propose the required characteristics for
their transport tasks.
