Set Induction 1. Teacher greets the students and asks (5 minutes) about whether they are having their breakfast this morning or not.
2. Teacher asks the students the day and
date to test students’ alertness and write it on the board.
3. Before the class started, teacher
conducted a games for the students to be more excited towards the topic that they will learn today. a. Teacher firstly give instruction to the students about the game. b. Students need to work in a pair. c. Teacher will ask all of the students to take out a ruler and hands out a small chocolate bar to each of the students. d. All students will got candy but the fastest student that can answer the exact measurement of the length of chocolate bar will get an extra. e. Teacher read the student’s answer to check with the whole class if they also get a correct answer.
4. After that, teacher tells students the
meaning of the games that they played just now. As we can see, the winner of the games must measure the chocolate bar correctly with the exact measurement. 5. After that, teacher tells student the new chapter they will learn today that is Chapter 3.1: Accuracy and Precision, where they have to measure correctly based on a pattern.
