 Original Passport with validity of minimum six months from the intended day of

entry into Taiwan and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.

 Two recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%
face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
 Covering-letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name,
designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit duly signed by
authorized signatory and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Taipei Economic and
Cultural Center, Chennai
o Please Note: If applicant requires multiple entry visa then the tentative
travelling date should be mentioned.
 Invitation letter from Taiwan to be duly signed by authorized signatory. Signing
authority's email id and contact number should be mentioned on the Invitation
Letter. Invitation letter should be brought to the Taipei Economic and Cultural
Center (TECC) along with the application. Do not fax or email them to TECC.
o Please Note: The embassy might ask for invitation letter in Chinese
language after reviewing the case, hence it is advisable to submit it with the
application initially to avoid delay.
 Copy of Company registration certificate or Letter of recommendation from CII /
FICCI/ PHDCCI
 Copy of Import/Export license issued by government (if applicable)
 Confirmed round-trip air ticket
 Confirmed hotel booking
 Company’s bank statements for last three months / Annual Report of Company
(only financial pages)
 Original salary bank statement for last six months with bank's sign & stamp
 Company ITR for last three years
 Personal ITR for last three years.
 Please Note: Bank statement is required with bank stamp and signature on every
page.
o Note 1: First Time Travelers need to submit the following in addition to the
documents above
o Original Highest Degree Certificate
o Original Salary statement of last six months.

o Mandatory document to be submitted by the nationals of Bangladesh,
Nepal and Srilanka : A Letter of Guarantee provided by host company.
o Visa applications for above nationals must be applied at New Delhi.
o Note 3:
o Indian passport holders who hold valid visas or permanent residences for
US, UK, Canada, Japan, Schengen Convention countries, Australia or New
Zealand, are eligible to apply for Taiwan Visa online.
 o Single & Multiple Entry Visa is Embassy's Discretion.
o The fees will be paid as per the category the applicant is applying in. The
embassy will grant the visa as per its own discretion, however if applicant
has applied for multiple entries and the visa is granted for single entry then
the visa fees will be non-refundable.
