General Objectives
The main objective of the study is to develop an online reservation for
enrollment system of Our Lady of the Lake School Inc. and to help the Students,
Parents and the school for a better and reliable enrollment reservation system.
Specific Objectives
 To create an online reservation for enrollment for enrollees of Our Lady of
the Lake School Inc.
 To develop an accurate and easier way of enrollment for the students of Our
Lady of the Lake School Inc.

Statement of the Problem
Our Lady of the Lake School Inc. is still using the old and manual way of
enrollment that takes days to finish. With the help of online reservation system it
will lessen the enrollees per day, and we decided to develop a system that will aid
the Our Lady of the Lake School Inc. (our choice) to transition into a more advance
computerized reservation for enrollment system.
The purpose of the study is to answer the following questions:
1. What is the profile of the respondent?

1.2 Sex
1.3 Year Level
2. Is it save your time when the student will use the online reservation
system?
3. Is the system run Smoothly and Appropriate?
4. Is it very Informative and User - Friendly?

Significance of the Study
This study will be benefited to the following:
Students: They will no longer be needed to wait just to reserve for an
enrolment because they can do reservation first and go to the school.
School Administrators and School Staff: This study will help them
organize online reservation for enrolment system procedures and different
transactions made in their respective areas.
Future Researchers: this shall address as the references of other
upcoming program developer of the online reservation system.

Scope and Delimitations
Scope: This system is limited to the of Our Lady of the Lake School Inc. It
can work for reservation purposes. The Enrollees will choose the following
educational stages Pre-Elementary, Elementary, Junior Highschool and Senior
Highschool and this is based to the school offered educational stages.
Limitation: The system does not cover the calculation of student's
evaluations, inventory of books, survey of educators, the system doesn’t do any
online transaction fees. It can't demonstrate the timetable of time of the subjects
every year level.

Definition of terms
 C#: hybrid of C and C++, it is a Microsoft programming language
developed to compete with Sun's Java language. C# is an object-
oriented programming language used with XML-based Web services

 Computer: an electronic device for storing and processing data,
typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable
program.
 Computerization: involves the process of taking activities or tasks
not previously done on the computer and shifting them to being done
on the computer. Shifting from keeping patient records on paper to
keeping patient records in the computer is an example
of computerization.
 Database: an organized collection of data, generally stored and
accessed electronically from a computer system. Where databases
are more complex they are often developed using formal design and
modelling techniques.

United States, Canada, and possibly other countries, is a short form
for the publicly-supported school grades prior to college. These grades
are kindergarten (K) and the 1st through the 12th grade (1-12).

from Microsoft that combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database
Engine with a graphical user interface and software development
tools. It is a member of the Microsoft Office suite of applications,
included in the professional and higher editions.

Windows. It supports tabbed editing, which allows working with
multiple open files in a single window. The project's name comes from

Online Registration Reservation System
The presence of Online Registration and Reservation system of Dalton
Academy help the students as well as the school to fasten their system of
enrollment as well as reservation. At present, the Dalton Academy has three
sections of each year level. The enrollment and reservation process is done in a
first come per serve basis, thus if you are early to enroll even you are belong in the
first section however if you are late enrollee then you are place in the last section.
This policy is there to all year level from first year to fourth year. There are certain
problems also have been encountered such as the process of registration in which
all year level are piled up in the registration booth. Conflict of date for the
registration and reservation. The filing-up of information in the registration forms.
In order to resolve this, we create an online registration. This will be indicate
a registration procedure in the online registration and reservation system. It reserve
in the section, create an account to register in the form in order to reserve in the
section.

Online student enrollment system
Our Online student enrollment system enables students to enroll into their
subjects prior to the commencement of their semesters. This enrollment system not
only allows international students to enroll through internet without traveling to the
campus but also incorporates the business rules. These business rules cover a
wide range of regulations and policy such as subject pre-requisite, student's
payment status, course coordinator's decision and the correspondence of students'
seniority to the intended enrolling subjects. Besides business rules, the system also
incorporates various
Notification mechanisms like Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Email.
XML is used to store the business rules and thus allow the portability of the system
interface to wider range of devices such as Personal Device Assistant (PDA). The
interface auto-detects the user's device either PC/laptop or much smaller screen
device such as PDA. In short, the enrollment system backend engine runs based
on the business rules and front-end engine runs to provide high satisfaction user
experience. With the business and user interface, the system is able to run the
workflow of student enrollment from the online enrollment form to approval workflow
cycle running parallel with the notification capability.

Student enrolment system
This document is the Technical Report on the Student Enrolment System
(SES) in partial fulfillment of the requirements of CSCI321 Software Project. It
outlines the technical details of an automated enrolment system for the University
of Wollongong with initial emphasis on the Department of Computing Science. This
document is intended for use by systems programmers involved in maintaining the
Student Enrolment System.
Local Literature
Web-based enrollment system for Veritas Parochial School
Based on the researcher, a web-based enrollment system for Veritas
Parochial School (VPS) in Web Based enrollment system, Manila was developed
to help its students enroll in a more efficient way without the hassles of waiting long
hours in filling out forms, which sometimes become redundant, or to stand in line
and pay at the cashier. It is with the Web-based Enrollment System for VPS that
this new style of enrollment may be achieved. This new type of system offers its
students new options for enrolling at VPS. By logging on to VPS website, one can
register and enroll subjects for a school year. With these, all the students are
required to fill out certain forms that do not take more than a few minutes to

accomplish. The system stores its records in the school database for future
references. Confirmation of the transaction made by the students need to be
verified, the payment of tuition fees must be made in the schools registrar.
The students may also browse the web site of VPS and he can check his
current account. He can also refer to the list of the school current tuition fee rates (
Pascual & Riceo, 2008) According to Lopez (2005), a registration system helps
and provides efficient and reliable services to the students, enrollment personnel
and administration. Moreover, this system improved the process of enrollment in
terms of searching, retrieving and subject schedules. While in a study conducted
by Cayabyab (2007), many problems and difficulties were identified in the existing
system of Dagupan City National High School (DCNHS). These major concerns
are affecting the efficient enrollment system of students. Security of the students
records were found to be at high risk. The current system may fail to protect some
important documents. It has also untimely and inefficient report generation.
A computerized system for DCNHS shall result to a significant increase in
the number of enrollees Network-Based Enrollment System Conde (2007) in his
study entitled “Network-bases Enrollment System of Paete National High School
cited that the manual process of enrollment and manual handling of information
and reports of the students is very laborious one. The proponents developed a

network based system enrollment system to the said school to solve the huge
amount of task.
Garcia (2002) created the “LSPC Enrollment System”, the study can be a
great help to persons concerned during the enrollment period, the registrar,
instructor of the students as they retrieval necessary information when needed and
lessen the burden manually browsing over enrollment slip for record purposes
Saayo et.al (2008) developed the system “Network based automated Enrollment
and grading system for Morong National High School.
Due to increasing population of the institution, and the school currently
implementing the manual system, every student spends a lot of time during
enrollment period, such as paying their tuition fees and processing the school
requirements. Valina et.al (2009), in this work entitled “Network-based student
Permanent Record keeping and Enrollment System of Balian National High
School”.
This System was made to lessen the time and effort exerted by both student
and school employees. It is also made to give accurate reports and keep records
of every students every students and for easy and fast way of enrollment. Soria
(2006), constructed a system entitled “Network-based Computerized inventory
System for the supply office o the LSPC main campus. With the advancement of
technology, devices and machines were improve , developed and inverted to cope

up with the need of new world. There are different systems designed for reliable,
efficient and very useful to the user. Cabang et al. (2003) developed the
‘computerized Students Record Monitoring System of Siniloan National High
School”, Computerized Student data will be exceedingly helped to the user through
continuous management of the School. It could help the registrar for a less effort
services in the institutions especially in updating, printing and deleting student’s
record. Velasco (2002) Study entitled “Maulawin National High School Student
Information System” cited that maintaining students, records manually is a very
difficult task and time consuming. In that case, computerization system that can
help and handle 17 this data needed to speed up the process of student’s record
keeping and to promote and reliability.
Cura et al. (2004), Designed system entitled “computerized inventory
system of office of the supply in LSPU” is capable of handling voluminous data
about the flow of item insurance and reply to the flow of items’ issuance and return
in supply office Torres
et al. (2002), conducted a study that resolves around the importance
computerization of student information. This study was conducted with the hope
that it would help minimize time and effort in processing student’s information in

of recorded knowledge. Furthermore, it is a collection of related components
designed to support operations, management, and decision making in an
organization. Generally, is supposed to inform people. Information System
supports people or users in making intelligent decisions based upon the information
derived from reliable data.
According to Evangelista (2008) the university’s Student Information
System (SIS) of Nueva Vizcaya State University is a secure, web accessible
interactive computer system that allows user access to grade reports, transcripts
,schedule of classes, and remaining balance for the semester and register for
classes online.Through the system, students would be assigned a unique
identification number.
All data to and from the university would use that unique identifier. The use
of individual student records would: 1) Increase the admissions capacity to follow
a student’s progress over time; 2) provide better quality data to drive more

students; 3) reduce data collection burden through a web enabled SIS; and 4) as a

Computerized Enrollment System for Mary Lourdes Academy
Enrollment System is very essential in a school. In case of Mary Lourdes
Academy, it is composed of a manual system. The administrator used a manual
system in recording and retrieving student’s information and payment by just only
using ball pen and columnar sheet. Therefore, the proponents wants to improve
the old system of the school by proposing a new system which is the Computerized
Enrollment System. Building an Enrollment system that would aid Mary Lourdes
Academy, so the school can enroll and compile all the information they had without
toring a bunch of papers in
File cabinets is one of the goal of the proponents. The new system would
also help the upcoming applicants of Mary Lourdes Academy to have flawless
enrollment in the school. Enrollment system is a good example of a computer
generated process. This can lessen the workload and provides accurate
information needed of the school. As a result, it will benefit not only the students
but the administration as a whole.

Research Design
In this portion of the research it shows what research design the researchers used
to gather data in the study. The researchers prefers using Descriptive design to simulate
a much faster way to conduct the research and get positive results .The researchers are
using the observational and experimental method which are considerable because of
observing while experimenting at the same time.
Population and Samples
The respondents of the study are the Senior high school students of Our
Lady of the Lake School Inc. (OLLS) they are the one who gives some opinion to
the researcher who gather data. All the information from respondents can be used
or can help to create our online reservation system to make it accurate. The
Researcher conducted a survey for 20 respondents and use the probability random
sampling method to get a non-bias feedback from the respondents.

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
Summary
The aim of this research is to determine the how this research will affect the
Our Lady of the Lake School in the reservation system, and it will affect the
old/manual way of reservation system in Our Lady of The Lake School. After going
through the data collection, the researchers manage to identify the main problem.
Only 20 respondents from various fields stated were given the chance by
convenience sampling to give their insights and views on the product developed.
How the main findings of the conducted survey concluded that most of the
respondents were satisfied to the function that the proposed system could give.
The researchers developed a system that will lessen the inconvenience of the
Admins and the Students old manual way of reservation.

Conclusion
Based from the findings of the study, the Researchers conclude the
following:
 Our lady of the lake School reservation needs to be advance so the
students and the Teachers will no longer experience manual difficulties
in reserving in our School.
 This research will be the answer for the increasing number of students
here in Our Lady of the Lake School. Nowadays in this generation
work is required to be done in an easy way to efficiently use time and
effort yet still having a productive report. An example of these is
upgrading Our Lady of The Lake School existing manual reservation
system. Having this implemented
 The admin will have the ability to conveniently access the students within
the City of Muntinlupa. Thus giving them ease and less burden of
encoding, regarding and generating reports manually.

Recommendation
There are some instances that the system needs to be competent and to be
much better. Based on the suggestions from the respondents, we recommend to
the researchers of this system to add the following.
 The admin should try the computerized reservation system in our school.
 The cooperation between admin and the researchers should be increase so
that the system will be improved.
 The researchers must update the system to have the option to pursue the
steady changes of technology and most recent improvements.
 The future developers can upgrade the framework by including extra
capacities or potentially purposes.
 Students should change their attitude and do not always blame the system.
They should appreciate the contribution done by the researchers since they
give their best shot to make this system.
