NOTICE FOR PASSION PROGRAM
(for all first year under graduate students and lateral entry students)

1. PROPS are Audit Programs which carries non CGPA 4 credits. As per ordinance
of Quantum University every undergraduate student has to earn these 4 credits
compulsorily.
2. The duration of a passion program for all first year under graduate students will
be one full year (two consecutive semesters) ie 2nd and 3rd Semester and for
lateral entry students will be one semester only ie 4th Semester.
3. Each PROP, upon successful completion as per the ‘Evaluation System’, carries 4
credits.
4. During first semester a student is advised to explore various options available.
5. Each UG student needs to register for one PROP program by the end of the first
semester to be marked as an AUDIT course.
6. The evaluation for PROPs will start from second semester.
7. He/she cannot change the PROP during second and third semester (1st yr
undergraduate students) and in fourth semester (lateral entry students).
8. It is mandatory for every student to earn 4 credit points in the UG program. In
other words, a student needs to opt for one such program during the tenure of
his/her academic program. However, he/she may continue participating in any
club/society willfully after completion of the PROP opted for as above.
9. A student may register in up to two PROPS if he/she so wishes. However, he/she
will be audited in one PROP only as opted and defined by the student
himself/herself at the time of registration at the end of 1st Semester.
10. Students are advised to complete their PROP requirement by the end of the third
semester since they may be more involved in their domain-specific activities in
later semesters.
11. Window will be open for opting Passion Program in students ERP
(http://my.quantumuniversity.edu.in) from 17 October – 31 October, 2019.
12. Students will be allowed to fill in 2 options as their first and second preference.
For giving their PROP preferences students need to select (Event -> PROP
Selection) after login to their account.
13. University may run any or the entire passion program at its sole discretion.
