At present many hospitals (hospitals) are experiencing a shift in perspective from the goal of organizing

initially community service oriented to business orientation. As a result, many poor people were refused
by the hospital to get health services which often led to loss of life.

The public certainly still remembers the sad story of Revan Adiyaksa Andi Amir, a one-year-old three-
month-old baby who had to die on Wednesday (6/26) afternoon, due to being late in getting medical
services. This baby from a poor family from Makassar, was rejected four times by the Hospital for various
reasons.

Revan who suffered from vomiting, on Monday afternoon his parents took him to the hospital for
treatment. Instead of getting treatment, he was turned down and was advised to look for another
hospital. One hospital argued it could not take care because Revan was already critical. The other three
refused on the grounds that the room was full. After pacing around looking for the hospital, Revan finally
got treatment at the Academic Hospital. However, due to being handled too late, Revan's condition
worsened until he finally died.

The heartbreaking incident is proof that the prime health service heralded by the government does not
apply to the poor.

Maybe if Hippocrates, the Father of doctor's profession, was still alive, he would cry when he saw such a
case. Health care facilities that were initially oriented to cure those who were ill indiscriminately,
regardless of social status, and full of human values, now the Hospital was established because of the
prospect of business profits.

The health service by seeing the business profits is clearly violating humanity, as we see by our eyes,
they do not care about their quality of service, they just do whatever that look like professional service
even it's just a formality. They do not give their service sincerely as they said in their oath of promise to
service people with no profit, to do not differentiate people by their position, their race, or even their
money.

Try to imagine, if someone is accustomed to seeing business opportunities, then slowly what he thinks is
just to get as much profit as possible.they will ignore patients who do not produce to them any
advantage or if they do a service, they will not do it seriously, and everything you do that is not do based
on your heart will not produce anything good. Or you can even make someone health getting worse.

wages are obtained as a bonus from what we do, not the main goal we must get to do a service

Which do you prefer? Humanity or property?
