The Book Of John John 7:53-8:6

They each went to his own house, but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Early in the morning He
came again to the temple. All the people came to Him, and He sat down and taught them. The
scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in
the midst they sad to Him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the
Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say? This they said to test Him,
that they might have some charge to bring against Him. Jesus bent down and wrote with His finger
on the ground.
There’s a Word for that! Glory

Look up! When is the last time you looked up when you arrived at school to praise God for His
handiwork? As you leave your car, do a first step prayer for thanks as you look up.

Psalm 19:1 – The heavens declare the glory of God and the sky proclaims His handiwork.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your heavens for they declare

Lord, you have placed the Earth in the exact
position that our lives are sustained. You have

mark time for us. You have created beauty all
about us. Help us to remember to look up and
stand in awe of Your manifold witness before us

Prayer, posture and Practicalities

1:16 PM prayer prompt – Please pray for the families in our school communities who are having
trouble paying for their utilities.

Prayer Log – We have all attempted to keep track of our prayers for others. A prayer log that is
organized by person rather than dates will help us get away from random slips of paper with
great intentions to seeing the blessings and answered prayers for those we pray.
